Link?
In one of the latest guide books, it lists everything in chronological order, and after Battle of Gods it says something like "....AND THEN!?!" And the story is left wide open with BoG, it feels like the beginning of a saga.

Superman is, and always has been, a symbol for truth, justice, and upstanding moral fortitude–a role model and leader as much as a fighter. The more down-to-earth Goku has no illusions about being responsible for maintaining social order, or for setting some kind of moral example for the entire world. Goku is simply a martial artist who’s devoted his life toward perfecting his fighting skills and other abilities. Though never shy about risking his life to save either one person or the entire world, he just doesn’t believe that the balance of the world rests in any way on his shoulders, and he has no need to shape any part of it in his image. Goku is an idealist, and believes that there is some good in everyone, but he is unconcerned with the big picture of the world…unless it has to do with some kind of fight. Politics, society, law and order don’t have much bearing on his life, but he’s a man who knows right from wrong.

I think it will come as a shock to people when they realize that, the very best information we have for anything is in whatever guidebook it was, where it said "Battle of Gods... and more?" or something like that. I might be completely wrong about the wording, but it's something along those lines. Either way, that's the best we have right now. I don't really understand this mentality. Either people are exploiting the gullibility of people and thirst for new material, or they have this idea that if they keep spreading rumors, somehow it will magically come true.

Nishimura san excogitates. I understand that he is sorting what he can tell me, and what he can’t. As a reminder, the announcements of the games are govern by strict contracts, between the rightholder (Shueisha/Toeï) and the producer of the game (Namco Bandai).

Then Nishimura san tells me: “I understand the concerns of the players. I can’t answer directly, I am just going to ask you a question: What do you prefer between a game immediately, or a better game a little later?

By asking us this question, Nishimura san confirms us without having to spell things out that our demands about a longer development time has been eared, and that something is likelihood getting ready behind the scene.
To be fair, it's not even aimed at 360 gamers but Kinect gamers.

I think the very best information we have on a sequel is the Battle of Gods movie itself. Vegeta says that next time he wants to become SSJG, Bills reveals to Goku that there are other universes and Gods of Destruction, that Whis is much stronger than him and is his master, that he only used 70 percent of his power, and then Whis tells Goku that Bills will wake again in three years.

If there isn't a new series or movie announced within a year, I will be shocked.

Chozenshuu #2 had this page, which lists every animated series & movie, finishing with "AND MORE?!"

Finally, Battle of Gods expands the Dragon World with the whole 12 Universes, stating that there are probably even more incredible guys than Beers & Whis in those other Universes.

This thread has quickly degenerated from discussing the latest Dragon Ball-related hoax to arguing about what evidence there is for a prospective continuation. Most of that is already summarized in the first post of the "Battle of Gods... 2?" thread.

I'm tempted to close the thread, but maybe I'll hold off for a bit and see where it goes.

This was floating around Twitter a while ago. I tweeted at @ Kanzenshuu asking if there's anything behind it (was there even a press conference to attend?).
I guess it just made it's way to FB, guess I'll have to go tell all of my friends it's fake and lame.

This hoax has made its way to a couple of my friends on Facebook. They were so excited about it. I hate being the bearer of bad news.. :(

See More post this on their facebook page and most of the 900 comments are like "OMG I can't wait! DBZ is back baby!!". Reminds me of the same response that Kai was getting when it was coming out  .

I really don't understand how people can believe this kind of stuff? I mean we have search engines for a reason etc.
It is in his character to be rude and a bit crass. He's a hick, with no formal education. That is Son Goku. That is who he is.

Superman in an orange Gi was the bastard son of FUNimation. Its not The real character, it is as false as Chatku.

Why is it that most Dragon Ball fans are the most gullible and willing to believe anything? Ifeel like in most areas of discourse, people aren't willing to believe anything without any source or evidence for it. It kind of reminds me of religion.

I feel like it probably happens in other fandoms too; I'm just not deeply entrenched enough in any of the other fandoms I follow to accurately be able to give an answer on that.

I know that I always do the research. I won't believe random internet statements without any hard evidence to back it up.

I'd totally watch it if it existed. :P

Note: I just made that up, although someone might come up with a rumour DB series probably not of the early stages.

You know what would suck though :p If they ACTUALLY did make a new series. Then all those fanboys would like "See! We were right all along!"

Lots of things that previously weren't true have become true in time. Plan To Eradicate the Super Saiyans has become an OVA, Dragon Ball AF is actually a thing (even though it's unofficial, it IS trying to make pretty much all those AF pictures that were for shits and giggles into a true story :p). There isn't a Dragon Ball Hoshi yet, but with Goku becoming... well a bit more anime-like in his latest transformation... Hoshi doesn't even sound as ridiculous as previously :p

I'm just throwing oil on the fire :p I'm kidding, of course there isn't gonna be a new series that spans 200 episodes :p

The image has been also translated to Spanish. Ugh. I hate it with passion.
Check out Journey's End, a short story of Goku and Vegeta's final days. "Time is running out for the last two Saiyans"
