My favorite Earthling is Kuririn! Even, though he's nothing compared to the Saiyans, he is still the strongest Earthling (apart from Oob).
My favorite Kuririn moments are as follows:
In Dragon Ball, after fighting Ma Junior, he gives up. But everyone cheers and acknowledges what a splendid martial artists he has become. Even Ma Junior acknowledges his strength. A truly touching moment.
In Dragon Ball Z Budokai 3, in Kuririn's Dragon Universe after fighting the Saibaman(or men, I don't recall), there is a short scene with Muten Roshi telling him how he will never be strong unless he believes in himself. Again, really touching.
In Dragon Ball Z, when he sacrifices himself to let everyone escape from Evil Boo. It shows how brave he is.
