In-Universe Discussion would have its name changed to "Why this thing but not this other thing?" and every thread would be answered by a series of spam bots infinitely quoting the original post.

I didn't really want to jump in on this since I thought it could possibly be in bad taste almost, but I guess the mods are okay with it - so why not.
Honestly, I'm not sure I'd ever want to full on run a forum again - I had enough fun with my old one back in the day and modding on FUNi is enough really - but if I did, I'd probably only do three things, two of which have already been mentioned.
1) Bring back the introductions section.
2) Make an off-topic section.
3) I'd also get rid of the stipulation against 'necro-posting' for the most part. I've always been more of a fan of not having a crapload of threads about the same topic, so as long as there was a legitimate reason to bring a thread back, I'm more into reviving a thread than making a new one. Bringing a thread back up for no good reason would still be frowned upon of course though.
