In DBGT, why did everyone's hair style change?
Re: In DBGT, why did everyone's hair style change?
It is in his character to be rude and a bit crass. He's a hick, with no formal education. That is Son Goku. That is who he is.
Superman in an orange Gi was the bastard son of FUNimation. Its not The real character, it is as false as Chatku.

What Vegeta have is a haircut, not a hair style change.
Pure Saiyans don´t have hair changes in the color or style. If they cut it, eventually will grow up to where it had originally and no more than there.
Vegeta with that hair cut and without mustache, looks badass!!

Hair
It doesn't change from when they're born.
All Saiyan have black hair. After they are born, their hair stays the same their entire life and does not change in such ways as growing longer or discoloring. You could say that they have sturdy hair and are strikingly free of having to worry about hair loss. However, transforming into a Super Saiyan and the like yields a change in their hair's color, shape, and length. - Daizenshu #4
Saiyan Aging
As a fighting race they stay young for a long time in order to maintain their power, but their actual lifespan isn’t much different than Earthlings, and they quickly deteriorate after a certain age. Saiyan hair style still changes with age, and that Nappa went bald. Like with Earthlings, hair composition various from person to person. - Super Exciting Guide: Character Volume
----
Going by Daizenshu #4's entry on their hair, it would imply that their hair literally never changes. But Toriyama's SEG answer expands on the topic. The whole idea seems to be that their hair just is not constantly growing like human's would; it grows out to that specific length and then stops. As Toriyama explained with Nappa, as I think most fans would have laughed at the idea of him being born bald with his mustache, Saiyan hair can in fact undergo changes with age. Specifically, we know this means they can grow facial hair and that their hair's natural style can change to allow it to thin or bald, but it's possible that the hair may never discolor. Not really enough examples.
