Zac Efron is another one, I've heard quite a few times he's a fan of DB, and just anime and manga in general.
Re: Snoop Dogg Gogeta shoutout and celebrity fans
Well, a google search of "Wu Tang Clan Dragon Ball Z" brought me this little gem.

How interesting. This reminds me of an argument I had with people about Saiyans representing us black people in a way. But that's a whole other story.

Hopefully everyone's kidding, I highly doubt Toriyama was making a racial allegory.

LMAO Exactly how it went. But yeah... another time. And I'm sure Toriyama did NOT want this to be a racial thing other than his fictional races.TheGmGoken wrote:LOL! I doubt even the RZA himself thought that Toriyama really intended it to be that. I think he's just trying to apply it as a metaphor. I can kinda see where he's coming from though. There are some similarities.ABED wrote:Hopefully everyone's kidding, I highly doubt Toriyama was making a racial allegory.

It comes off as a contrived metaphor.Dalesy wrote:I doubt even the RZA himself thought that Toriyama really intended it to be that. I think he's just trying to apply it as a metaphor. Don't know if this counts, but I remember hearing Travis Willingham say he was a fan when he was in school before he started acting professionally.
Re: Snoop Dogg Gogeta shoutout and celebrity fans
Bo Burnham did an AMA on reddit where one of the questions asked "What do you think about the Teenage Mutant Ninja Tur-les?" To which he responds "There is only one Tur-les."

I'm confused isn't he Snoop Lion now? Why does he keep on being referred as Snoop Dogg?
Well, who cares about that. It's good for Dragon Ball to have some free advertisement.

Because the name Snoop Lion is straight up dumb and I don't think many people caredbboxkaifan wrote:I'm confused isn't he Snoop Lion now? Why does he keep on being referred as Snoop Dogg?

"Snoop Lion" is just a character he's playing for his reggae album and documentary. Him saying that it's his new name is all part of the character.
I can't believe this is on-topic.

"I have no idea what you're talking about. I actually have a life." HAHAHAHA!!!!
Re: Snoop Dogg Gogeta shoutout and celebrity fans
When you've made it as big as Snoop Dogg, I don't see why you would want to change your name or re-brand yourself. He is well known for being Snoop Dogg not Snoop Lion. Anyway...
Re: Snoop Dogg Gogeta shoutout and celebrity fans
David Henri, from Disney's "Wizards of Waverly Place", is a fan.
Re: Snoop Dogg Gogeta shoutout and celebrity fans
I think UK presenter Johnathan Ross is a fan. Remember seeing him wearing a DBZ t-shirt on one of his shows many years ago.
