I don't know where Goken's came from, but I think Chuquita made those herself.

The ones I posted I drew over the course of the year. I have some from when I thought that Toei office door art was accurate (the base Goku body build, but with brown hair w/blonde highlights) but I didn't link those because that was more general fan art than alternate design.

EDIT: The reason I tend to add highlights to ssjg Goku's irises when I draw him is because without them he ends up giving off a yandere type feel.

Not really. Because then it would just be a copy of Naruto's Bijuu mode and have no original qualities to it. Not that SSJG is original in the first place.

I just dont find it a very original idea. Did we really need a new out of nowhere form? I get Bills is a god and all but was SSJG REALLY necessary? Theres nothing more unoriginal in DBZ than out of nowhere power ups, regardless of the name of it.

You could argue SSJ2 and SSJ3 came out of nowhere as well. Same as the ritual for Ultimate Gohan.

I would't say SSJ2...but SSJ3 kinda did. Gohan ritual was kinda....last minute I think. Had that last minute feeling.

We only knew Gohan would get pissed, not transform into something entirely different. Especially when Goku said SSJ was the best form to use. SSJ3 isn't hinted at until right before the transformation, and Old Kaioshin comes out of nowhere to give Gohan power up.

SSJ2: I always thought before Toriyama came up with SSJ2 and SSJ3. Gohan didn't transform. He was holding back so much power his hair was that of his normal form and His SSJ2 form was his SSJ form but with the rage boost. Even after that I thought SSJ2 was for Half Saiyans only due to emotions. SO IMO wasn't random.

SSJ3: Like the design. But should't just pop up like it did. Not to mention it began the whole Goku Asshole Era. His eyeborws was made to represent his ass.

I'd say there still out of nowhere. Even SSJ4 had some build up to it. Though the Old Kaioshin knowing about Super Saiyan 4 may be a plot hole.

Old Kaioshin knowing about SSJ4 is a definite plothole. How many millions of years was he sealed in the sword? 65-70 million? I think at that point the Saiyans either didnt exist yet or were just starting.

Perhaps the gods have race guides that describe every race's characteristics?

I really don't think that Toriyama saw Kaio-ken & made Super Saiyan God similar. I believe that it's a coincidence.

It would only look similar to the Naruto's thing. doesn't make it a copy. it's not like naruto is the only thing that has someone turning into a flaming aura
