Yeah I'd say a time machine was more complex than a spaceship though! I think it would be well within her capabilities to do that.. Like MightyOzaru said a one person ship would be all that's neededRocketman wrote:Time machines aren't spaceships.

Re: Trunks' Future
Most of her equipment in the lab got destroyed during the Android attack, so that might've been why she couldn't build a spaceship.

Re: Trunks' Future
Yeah i'd agree with you there except maybe when Trunks returned and defeated the androids in their entirety they started rebuilding the cities so I think she could have mustered up some materials (after the hypothetical communication with kaio and Goku) for trunks to get to New Namek and start sorting some stuff out
and that could make a spinoff series with new villains maybe? Though Buu would probably still figure as he's been there for a long long time..

Re: Trunks' Future
Oh, I can definitely see Bulma being in a better position to create a spaceship once the Androids were gone. I was mainly referring to the time when she first created the time machine. I remembered her saying she could've created a much better time machine if the Androids didn't destroy her lab. I really wish the future timeline had more development, though. The way it's painted as a bleak, dark, hopeless world leaves so much room for different stories.

In this timeline he didn't have a future trunks to come back and warn them all hence why they have the future as it is but I just thought how would they have defeated Freeza when he came to earth without trunks being there? Maybe a new story when Goku lands shortly afterwards?

Re: Trunks' Future
I'm guessing Goku teleported there right before Freeza started doing anything. Trunks did say Goku was the one who defeated Freeza and Cold in the future timeline. It'd be nice to see how these events played out, though. It's kinda hard picturing Goku destroying Freeza's henchmen.

Re: Trunks' Future
Maybe Goku didn't kill the henchmen, maybe Vegeta was like "Kakarot! What's that over there" And when Goku turned to look, Vegeta blasted them all.
Would a spaceship really even be needed? If they did talk to Goku couldn't they just ask Goku to make another long distance call and call Namek and ask if they would get their dragon to grant a wish for them?Super Saiyan Turlast x4 wrote:Oh, I can definitely see Bulma being in a better position to create a spaceship once the Androids were gone. Re: Trunks' Future
After #17, #18 and Cell were killed that the Earth was in pace since there was no evil threat to deal with. I think it would be okay for Goku and the others to stay dead since the Earth can move on without them with Trunks as the new projector.

Re: Trunks' Future
Well supposedly Time Trunks from Dragonball Online is Future Trunks. Perhaps meddling in the past screwed things up created alternate universes and he has to watch over them?
If you want to take movies into account, I suppose Trunks would have to deal with Hildegarn at some point, or Bills.

Re: Trunks' Future
There's no Hildegarn in Trunks future because Hoi has no way on opening Tapion out of his box since there's no Dragon Balls. With Goku dead, Birus would most likely not travel to Earth.
