That depends entirely on the strength of the characters. I really dont see how SSJG Goku could defeat SSJ4 Gogeta.
I think he should said SSG Goku is stronger than Gotenks. Which is evident in the movie

That I can see considering SSJG is stronger than Super Vegito, but as far as I'm concerned, SSJ4 Gogeta is the strongest being of all 3 series of Dragonball.

Even if Broly had SSJG, SSJG Goku would still win provided its Buu Saga Goku. Its the same case as if Goku and Vegeta got SSJ at the same time on Namek. Goku's base power was so much more than Vegeta's that his SSJ would utterly eclipse him.

Vegeta base Namek - 250k. SSJ1 - 12.5 million.

Goku base Namek - 3 million. SSJ1- 150 million.

Basically it comes to base power and I think by the Buu saga, Goku far surpasses Broly so even if they both went SSJG, Broly would still lose.

Vegeta: "Funny... I seem to recall Kakarot being fed the same information right before he transformed; the distinct look on your faces when he went Super Saiyan didn't exactly inspire confidence. One does not predict or calculate power like ours."

I think it's safe to assume that Vegeta's stronger than Third Form Freeza after that Zenkai. Probably something like 2.4-2.5 million.

We know that Whis, Beers, and Super Saiyan God Goku are stronger than Super Vegetto, Super Saiyan 4 Goku & Vegeta, Super Oob, Ultimate Gohan, Super Saiyan 3 Gotenks, Oozaru Baby, Super #17, and all the Evil Dragons (minus Super Yi Xing Long), but we don't if they are stronger than Super Saiyan 4 Gogeta & Super Yi Xing Long. Personally thought, I believe that the BoG trio is above all in GT.

Even if he was at say, 2.5 million. At SSJ1 hed have been at 125 million. Goku would still have a 25 million lead on Vegeta and look what a 30 million lead did for him against Freeza. He slaughtered Freeza as far as the manga goes (as the anime makes 100% Freeza make it seem hes equal to SSJ1 Goku). Point is it all comes down to base power so even if Vegeta was at the level you had him at, hes still gonna lose.

I do believe so, but there isn't any evidence to back this up. But there isn't any evidence for the opposite as well. So, the answer will always be opinion-based.

Fair enough, I could see Bills winning as well, but at a very slight margin. I still think SSJ4 Gogeta is the single strongest being simply by the way he just toyed with Omega like a plaything. Omega didn't get a single hit in that caused damage to Gogeta and this is a being who's negative energy was destroying the universe. So honestly, I still consider SSJ4 Gogeta to be at the peak of power, at least that we have seen.
