Looks really good so far! I remember you posting a test animation for this before. As a fellow animator/artist, would you ever be up for posting about your process/what programs you use/etc? Looks like Adobe Flash for the characters, if so, what settings did you use? Brush tool? Pencil tool? Sorry for all the questions, I've just been looking for new ways to animated myself

All the animation frames were done in Photoshop Elements 8. All the audio was mixed in Audacity. The movie was edited/ timed in Windows Movie Maker. So... Besides Elements, all my programs are free lol

Wow, Movie Maker? Kudos to you for making something so good from that.

Movie Maker? Wow, I use that all time, but I don't think I could do that for full animation. Kudos to you, based on the preview the animation is pretty smooth.

I would lose my goddamn mind if I had to animate something that long in photoshop elements. I pretty much need Flash to do something elaborate like that.

Oh it is a VERY time consuming process. I dont have flash, and I'm pretty sure that it'd cost a small fortune for a good flash program which is money I simply lack. But I refuse to do a kickstarter or something like that. I thinks its kinda shady to ask my fans for money

I've seen projects funded through other, non-shady, means. There was this one artist I knew who wanted donations for a really long erotic fan comic a while back. But instead of asking for donations for the project, she created a short completely original comic and sold it digitally. But instead of a setting a fix price for it, you payed whatever you want as long as it's higher than a $1.

Basically she said something along the lines of that she wanted to do this fan project but didn't feel comfortable accepting money for it directly. So she worked hard on a small original comic that would help support her fan project. It's similar to getting paid for your job and using the money for your own personal work. And the "pay what you want" method wasn't a bad idea.

It's something that I'm considering doing myself. If someone wants to donate for one of my fan projects, I rather let people pay for original content instead.

As far as Kickstarter success stories go, look up Mighty No 9. Game had a 900k goal, and that was met in 2 DAYS. By the time the Kickstarter ended, it hit over 4 million in donations and funding.

I think he's saying that the animation in DBA is iffy. I'm kinda with him on the character designs though. They look more like Street Fighter characters

Damn DF7. Lately you been more blunt than usual . I mean the animation is bad(Looks like a swamp died). DBA animation doesn't even feel like a fanfiction. It feels like a different "Brand" as in it's not even a Fanfic of DBZ. It's a fan made story that uses DBZ character and their names.
