Is it just me or is GT more popular than DB?

I feel it's more popular in America, but other than that no.

Most likely cause Dragon Ball doesn't have SSJ and Ki blast every 3 seconds.

I think it's only more popular in countries like America, Europe and such. but in Japan i guess DB is more popular than GT.

I hate that, i mean would you rather watch a show with ki blasts and crazy fights but with shitty quality in term of writing ? or a show that has less fights but has amazing quality? that's just plain stupid. even the fights in DB is way way way way way way better than GT. but i guess they don't like DB's fight cuz it doesn't have have SSJ and Ki blasts every 3 seconds :D
