ImageShack has always been free for me and continues to this day, plus all the images I've hosted at IS are available. No complaints here nor do I intend on switching although if I were to I'd give PhotoBucket a chance or that MajHost.

I'm aware that PNG is lossless, but Photoshops highest compression setting for JPGs is very good, and I can't tell the difference from the raw PNG shots, even when zooming in. Not perfect, but still a reasonable comparison.

Basically, it was an exception in this case, and it was to originally save space for Photobucket, and I didn't want to retake them when I reuploaded them to Imgur. :p

Here's a PNG shot, just so you can see that the footage is really that bad:

Vs. the JPEG:

I personally can't tell the difference, even when I zoom in with Photoshop and switch between the two.

Photobucket registered free users have up to 5GB so it'll take a good time to hit that mark, and for free Imgur users the maximum allowed is 250 images per account which is nothing.

ImageShack still remains as the best out there.
No. Imgur requires no registration. Upload as much as you want. Same goes for Minus.com that doesn't even recompress your images after a certain size like other sites.

You can upload it without an account but I like to have it all in a folder so that's not an option for me unless the images are to post and not look for them again ever again.

Back on topic here's screens of Dead Zone UUE:

Strangely enough the Japanese audio in this release has that sound effect which was on the "Ocean Dub", i.e, Gohan falls back.

Yeah, and the picture quality of movie 1 is oddly great. If it had better encoding I'd probably prefer it over the Double Feature.

Yes; the discs contained in the movie packs are exactly the same as the corresponding ones from the double feature DVDs.

DVD Talk says the single has three audio tracks. So there's the Japanese track and the English track with Johnson music. What's the third track?

Didn't Dead Zone's UUE have a commentary track? If so, that might be it.

The singles usually have a 5.1 dub track, a stereo dub track and a Japanese track. That's why there are 3 audio tracks.

And for whatever reason Lord Slug has the Spanish Latino dub which puts FUNimation's English dub to shame for its inaccuracy and voice acting.

Actually, it was movie 5 that had the Latino dub.

I own the movie packs and just got the singles. Here's how it was for me, I like the movies so I was okay with the crop because well the price is good...so I thought...like the bricks it began bugging the hell out of me and I went ahead and bought all the singles...do yourself a favor and just buy the singles.

The price point is worth it if you just care about the discs. See I just got all the movies for $45 for the singles discs no cases; a lot of people on eBay have legit great deals if you just care about watching the series rather than displaying the cases. I planned on making my own case for them anyways so it was win win. I'll tell you what though having the steel case for the cropped TV specials though is bad ass, I really love that case for those two specials.

In the end I feel like if you just buy the singles you are actually saving money because you won't feel the need to buy these products twice, ie you won't need to buy the singles to see what the crop cuts out cuz you'll already own them.

Yeah yeah yeah dragon box the movies presents them cropped bc that's the aspect ration they were in theaters, but having them in 4:3 looks so much better IMO.

Hm, yeah it was Coola's Revenge that had it and no Spanish subtitles (they were instead translated to English).

Wrath of the Dragon could have been Dragon Ball Z episode 292 (50min long) because it was based after Majin Boo's arc and the characters have the designs of that time too.

Even though I own the Singles if FUNimation ever releases Dragon Box: The Movies I'll pre-order it as it has much better picture quality and audio quality too.

By the way, I used the Dragon Ball GT four boxes to bundle in all 13 (inc. "Ocean Dub") Dragon Ball Z films and gotta say that looks cool.

So, the M13 single has two English tracks. One has the Johnson score. What music does the other English track use? It's not in the Kanzenshuu home video guide, and I can't seem to find it on Google. This is what I was trying to ask earlier, but I guess I should have made it clear the music choice in the remaining audio track is the answer I was looking for.

I would assume it's a 5.1 (surround) track and a 2.0 (stereo) track of the same thing. None of the single discs had a dub + JP music option.

Wrath did indeed have Johnson stereo and Johnson 5.1.

Aside from the Pioneer DVD Singles and the UUE Singles, yeah, they didn't.

None of the Ultimate Uncuts had the Japanese music with the dub.

Yesterday I checked on the UUE's Dead Zone and there wasn't FUNimation Dub w/Original Soundtrack (By Kikuchi), but I thought it'd be there due to being FUNimation's second release of the films although it was by the third that they actually included it (Double Feature release).

If FUNimation released the Dragon Ball Z films in 4x3 AR (with the Japanese credits featured) on Blu-ray remastered in HD I'd totally buy them and sell the Singles.
