Isn't the whole "Three-Eyed Clan" thing fanon? I'm pretty sure Toriyama never said anything about Tenshinhan being an alien. In other words, theres really no way anyone can conclude that he is an alien and I personally will always assume that he is an earthling since the manga never said otherwise.

Regardless of whether he confirmed it or not, or whether you like the idea or not, it's printed in an official publications released as companion content to the rest of the franchise. By definition, it can not be "fanon".
