Dude I sooooooo agree! I have a couple episodes downloaded and the first Manga. I wanna buy the rest but have other things that must come first :P
The Dragonboxes are like a middle aged woman who still looks good through simply taking good care of her skin and body with maybe a tiny bit of makeup while the Orange Bricks are like a middle aged woman who get's 50 tons of botox, makeup and plastic surgery in order to look younger and as a result looks even worse. ~ ringworm128

So are you watching it in English or in Japanese? If English, how do you feel about acting/casting? I just watched the Dragon Ball Series for the first time last year, so it was fun for me to have the difference experiences last year. I read the Manga, and watched it along with Dragon Ball Z Kai in English, watched it with the original Dragon Ball Z in English, and then finally watched it with Kai all in Japanese. I like the Japanese voice acting the best, but obviously really liked the English version, being that I experienced the story four times last year because of it! This was all thanks to Kai! I couldn't stand the acting in the Ocean or Funimation versions of DBZ when I first tried to watch the series and would have given up on it, if not for Kai. I was actually going to give it up entirely, being that very vocal people on the internet made it out to be an abomination and used so many vulgarities to describe it. Then after that, I heard how bad the Japanese version was and the only people that seemed to like it, were elitist about it. Thankfully, I finally gave it a shot, because I absolutely love it!

I've actually been watching the Dub of it. I love most if not all the voices in the dub they don't bother me one bit. I have plans on going through the Japanese version of Dragonball as well eventually. but If I had to listen to it in Japanese I wouldn't be bothered by it. I actually switch the audio in the intro's and Outro's to Japanese because that's the way I remembered listening to it when I was kid. what little I did watch of it. :P

Dragon Ball is great, from start to finish.

Z, on the other hand, isn't. the Saiyan Arc was great, Freeza Arc was a mess to say the least, the Android/Cell Arc was Z at it's finest, and the Majin Boo Arc was fantastic.
