It's fine as far as lines go, but doesn't go with the aesthetic.

Pretty much everything Funi Gotenks-Buu says. Plus a fair bit of what the other Funi Super Buu forms say.

Oh, and he can survive in the vacuum of space. All this stuff is just presented as the way Freeza is, without even an attempt at rationalizing it, yet the tone dictates we're supposed to take all this silly grasping at straws as thrilling danger. So I guess I don't really take the power inflation in the Boo arc seriously, but I don't take the power inflation in earlier arcs seriously either, so there's no net loss of seriousness. I think a silly story presented as serious is harder to accept than a silly story presented as silly.

I'm surprised so many of these are dub lines.

In my case, that's just because I watched/read the series so long ago that I barley remember most of the details of the dialogue exchanges, dub or sub... except Funi Gotenks-Buu, for some reason.

Seems like a lot of the most impactful lines are dub lines, and to be honest, I have to agree with most of them.

I can't remember JPN Lines(Besides a few) honestly. Many in debates but in favorite lines? Only Korean and English. However....
"Kuririn No Kotoka!?!!!!!" - JPN GOKU

Comes from Movie 13.

"I do not forgive. I will handle. Weakness have to stare into reality. DIE!" - Korean Goku

I remember I made a similar observation in another recent 'quotes' thread.

Honestly, I don't think we should be surprised. The majority of members that grew up on fan-subs have all moved on now, and the younger (American, Australian, etc.) members that are coming in have pretty much grown up with (almost) everything already dubbed in English as well as a more accurate English dub as an alternative, so they don't really have as much of a reason to get into the original. Think about it, today's 13/14 year olds would've been 6 when the dubs of DBZ Movies 12 and 13 came out, 7 when the 'Orange Bricks' were released, 10 when DBZ Kai started on Nicktoons.

It's weird when you look at it that way, but when you think about it, we've really hit a new generations of fans.

If I knew/could think more Japanese lines I'd put them.
Those ones I posted were just off the top of my head.

I prefer the Japanese version and it's what I've watched most recently, but dub lines are more memorable to me because I heard them over and over again as a kid.

Yeah its just easier to remember the dub lines. Especially if you like the line in Japanese but don't think the translation is anything great. Like I remember watching movie 7 way back in the day on a sub that was probably from anime labs so the sub when Vegeta transforms into a Super Saiyan was something like "Now its my turn you over grown tin can" and I have no idea if that is actually accurate and even if it is I don't think its that great. But the way he says it in Japanese and transforms was really cool but I can't remember exactly what he says and definitely couldn't spell it.

Here's a Kai dub line:

"Unless you finish this, we'll be lost, lost forever to the memory of time."

One of the most well written lines of dialog in FUNi's Kai dub.
"Kenshi is sitting down right now drawing his mutated spaghetti monsters thinking he's the shit..."--Neptune Kai
"90% of you here don't even know what you're talking about (there are a few that do). But the things you say about these releases are nonsense and just plain dumb. Like you Metalwario64"--final_flash

I remember a line from Fat Buu, to SSJ3 Goku, it was something like "Me not scared, big hair make you look big funny!"
Cool stuff that I upload here because Youtube will copyright claim it: https://vimeo.com/user60967147

It fits Trunks. He talks like that a lot.
