Not another "why these movies fit" thread!!

Some of the movies do contain the few types of continunity errors I would consider big enough to make them "out-of-continunity." As I said in the other thread; I don't bother with this whole idea of "canon vs noncanon," as I view it as an over-elaborate way to dismiss certain aspects of a series (and as a side note; I find it very odd that fandoms nowadays are very open torwards having things be out-of-continunity). The exception to this would be if there's a serious, serious problem with what's being presented, such as characters being alive at a point when they should be dead(or vice versa, as the case may be
), an retelling/alternative version of events, or something of that magnitude.
As such, Z movies 2, 3, and 4 couldn't have happened, since there's the "alive when they should be dead" problem (I haven't seen movie 12 yet, so I can't comment on that). Likewise, Dragonball movies 2, 3 and 4 (and the first one, I presume) are "alterverse" stories since they're retellings and/or alternative versions of the events seen in the manga/anime.
Most of the others, I see as workable within the anime universe, dispite some problems they present.

I know, but he's chosing to address that as the sole proof that movie 9 works.Jerseymilk wrote:It's possible Dayspring that he's referring to other forums and discussions he's seen elsewhere.
He looks likes Trunks when he destroys his time's #17 and #18, except with long hair. When Trunks FIRST goes back in time to relay that news, he's three years older, his face looking like Vegeta's (with Trunks' short hair) instead of just a taller chibi Trunks.Chibi Mystic Gohan wrote:How exactly does Trunks look younger in movie 9?
