If you can still find it, which you probably can, however the season sets of seasons 1 and 2 of the Ocean version are now out of print. Luckily for me, I have all 53 episodes taped straight from cartoon network, which actually seem more uncut than the DVD version (though, no "Rock the Dragon" or single eye-catcher per episode for the first season). Also, glad to say I got both dubs of "Tree of Might", so I'll be ready to give Ian Corlett, Peter Kelamis, and Sean Schemmel side-by-side comparisons if FUNi's re-redub of movie 3 ever comes. On the note of how which Ocean VA voiced which, out of the 53 episodes; Corlett did the first 37 episodes and televised dub of "Tree of Might", Kelamis did episodes 38 - 53 along with the first 2 movies and uncut "Tree of Might" redub, and Schemmel's been doing everything else since.Duo wrote:I see the UUE as a good thing because it's their chance to release it with Jp Audio Track and Steven J. Simmons subtitles. Always a good thing.
But I must admit, I will always miss Scott McNeil and Ian Corlett. I'm probably going to buy the first season of the Ocean Dub sometime soon, just for nostalgia.
What's so great about the ultimate uncut DVDs?

I find nothing really great about the UUE DVD's besides the feature to watch them in Japanese with Daimao's subtitles. Personaly, I'd rather not waste my money buying all of 'em when I taped them on CN when they aired, that may be why the only Ultimate Uncut I own is The Dead Zone.
Speaking of the Dead Zone's re-release, does anyone know when The World's Strongest is being re-released?

I really, really need to get back into the habit of posting.

Well, it isn't too bad. We get seasons 1 and 2 (all first 67 episodes), and there's also the DBZ Movie 5 DVD. Hell, we might even get the Spanish version for the Movie 12 or 13 releases, it is possible. Let's cross our fingers (especially for movie 12).Tsukento wrote:I think I'm probably one of the few who likes the UUE DVDs just for the Spanish dub. >_>; Shame that seasons 1 and 2 are the only way you can get the Spanish dub in the US.
