Daizenshuu EX has been around before I even KNEW about this thing called 'internet'. Hell, it's been here since I was twelve. So, uh, yay!

By the way, that site is hilarious. Hell, I've seen that SSJ10 picture on several other sites listed as a Goku fanart. Not that the artist entitled it 'SSJ10' or anything of the like. The credit for that kind of creativity goes completely to the creator of this site. Go you!

the Af/V/Neo Saga site is around 3 years old. Hardly anything new.

Lets hope we get some kind of Mr. Satan manga. That'd be rad.

Heh. Satan heads out with Mr. Boo to find the Dragonballs. Along the way Satan gets Boo to kick the opposition's ass and then has him take pictures of Satan with a foot over their backs as proof that it was actually all Satan's doing.

I wonder what Satan'd wish for...

If they could spell properly, then they'd probably be more belivable.

'rumer' ROTFL Oh, god....I'm gonna die!

And, this year is the 20th anniversary of the DB manga, perhaps a new special is in the works (like the 10th anniversary special) Of maybe in 2006, when it's 20 years of anime.....

I heard about DBV ages ago, but I'd forgotten about it until this topic was bought up

Wouldn't that be awesome...on the 10th anniversary they made a DB movie...for the 20th, Toei should make a movie that spans the Saiyan saga to the Freeza saga....I can always dream...

Yeah! It'd be Vegeta who tells Goku about being a Saiyan etc, because he needs help stopping Freeza from gathering the namek DBs. The fight to bejeezus, meet up on Namek. Vegeta dies and Goku saves the day!

...Or something along those lines. Trying to think in remake mode makes my manga-versioned brain hurt. :(

I'm haven't read through the whole thread, but DBAF is a doujinshi. It's not official DB material. There are also several other series like V (which I think you listed) and one more that I can't think of right now. Correct?

That's the thing, though... no-one's ever been able to produce an actual DBAF doujinshi. People SAY it's doujinshi, and ASSUME it's doujinshi... but no-one's ever actually SEEN it :P. While it's probably the most plausible explanation... the fact that no-one's been able to come up with one speaks volumes.

Hmm...that's interesting. I found a site about a year ago that summaries of AF and V. I wish I could find it. Is was something like Saya-jin Island...sound familiar?

What about Ebay? Aren't there doujinshi or things titled DBAF being sold?

Searches on eBay for:

- Dragonball AF
- Dragon Ball AF
- DBAF
- dbz af

... bring up zero results :P. I've seen "potential" AF covers on sites, but they're just crappy Photoshopped... uhhh.... garbage? Hehe.

I don't think AF was really a Doujinshi either. I think what's more likely, is that "AF" are the artists initials, and the logo is simply his signature.

Concerning AF? What's to ask him? ^^;; He's said on many occasions that he has no interest in continuing the series. FUNimation had to post in their offical FAQ that there's no AF. Plus, there's always this.

I don't think he's ever been asked anything directly regarding AF; it seems to be just an American-only (or rather, English-speaking-only) internet "rumor," to the biggest extent. And that extent is... people are stupid ^^;;.

That's true VegEx, well definitely the part about people being stupid, but your other remark about AF being an English-only rumour. I've never seen any Japanese sites talking about it. Has anyone?

A while ago I found it on a french site that said it stood for "Après France" (or "after France"), meaning it was a doujinshi version of GT being translated into french only once the DB manga was fully released. Since it's been a good half decade since volume 42 came out in French and still no DBGT manga, I'm guessing that was an 00ber r00mer.

Nope...no Japanese sites. Here's the "episode guide" for AF:
