More what ifs. Always. Let's get far crazier and have things more like Percel's adventures describe; King Piccolo fuses with Kami and fights a war with Red Ribbon Androids and eventually Babidi. This sounds amazing. Let's get some of that level of time breaking what ifs.
Dabura is an absolute must if he's central to the damn plot. If Towa is wrecking time because of her brother's death it makes absolutely no sense for her not to go back in time and save him from Majin Buu. He is literally the centerpiece of the goddamn story and he's not even IN Xenoverse. Seriously, what the hell? I cannot stress enough how dumb a decision this was.
Whilst no where near as important as Dabura since they're not pivotal to the main villains plot, it'd be nice to have Zarbon(and his monster form), Dodoria and Chiaotzu as characters as well as the missing forms of Frieza, Cell and Buu.
I'd also be down for some Dragonball characters who were known to use ki blasts; King Piccolo, Tambourine and if you can get them to work despite their lack of flying(see Mr. Satan for details of why this shouldn't be an excuse); Master Roshi and Mercenary Tao.

Actually, Towas main goal was to bring about the destruction of history, with Towa also aiming to collect as much Kili energy as possible. Getting revenge against Majin Boo for him killing Dabra was just a secondary agenda, and given that she does not alter the events of Dabra's death it is possible that her relationship with her brother is on terms similar to that of Freeza & Cooler and that her desire for revenge is more out avenging their family's honor than out any love she may have for her brother.Akyon wrote:Dabura is an absolute must if he's central to the damn plot. I guess I'm one of the few people that like Toki Toki City? It has some problems with slow movement speed and minor design issues (why wasn't the Parallel Quest booth just placed outside on the time machine pavillion thing?), but overall I like the immersion more than just clicking things.

However seeing as she's so closely tied to him, I stand by it still seeming like a weird choice to leave him out in a video game scenario.
If the next antagonist in a video game was say...Recoome's brother coming for revenge against Goku and Vegeta for muddying their family's good name, I'd still kind of expect to see Recoome on the roster for that game.

I disagree with a few things here.
The Roster: Priority should be given to the Buu Saga since it's been more incomplete than the other sagas' lineup since Raging Blast 1. (Raging Blast 2's an exception, but a lot of people didn't fuck with it because it didn't have a proper story.) From there, Frieza and Cell's forms should be added; then 19, Gero, Zarbon, and Dodoria; then movies (if they're covered) and everyone else.
The Story: There should be two story modes. Both of them should properly cover whatever's in the game, but one of them should be the altered timeline. (i.e. the Namek Saga goes on as usual until the Ginyu Force show up, from which Ginyu may either leave Vegeta and the others to his team, or tell Guldo to take the Dragon Balls back like Xenoverse.)

"Distance" boosts your ki blasts and ki supers, "Up close and personal" boosts physical attacks and Strike Supers, and "Balance" boosts all four stats about half or two-thirds as much choosing one of the others, and then alters each stat based on the ratio of how you use your attacks. (i.e. I use physical attacks significantly more than ki-based attacks, so each Super Saiyan stage would boost my attacks in a 60/40 split: SS1 boosts physicals 3% & ki-based 2%, SS2 boosts 6% & 4% respectively, and SS3 boosts 12% & 8% respectively.)
- SSJs should have access to infinite supers, but doing an ultimate should revert the character to its base form.
I think Super Saiyans using supers at half-cost would be better than infinite, but I agree with ultimates powering them down.
- Unlike in Xenoverse, if you go Super Saiyan the transformation doesn't end when your Ki goes to zero (unless you do an Ultimate).
Overall, I think characters should get tired if their ki hits 0, like in Battle of Z.
- You revert to normal SSJ if you are SSJ2 or above, and lose all the boosts. You need to turn SSJ again to re-gain those boosts.
Losing Super Saiyan 3 should result in a complete detransformation IMO.
- The time duration of these forms should be like they are in Xenoverse.
Only Super Saiyan 3 should be timed.
Transformations
- Kaio-Ken should be exclusive to Saiyans and Humans.
I think Kaioken should remain available to all races, since it's a technique that can be taught.

I like Toki Toki city as well; I think it's a step in the right direction. I just think they need to add more to it, expand it, make it more interactive. Maybe there are several worlds like someone mentioned earlier in the post. Just something to give it more of that interactive feel and less like a menu with your character walking around. I played Injustice on the Wii U before at Gamestop and I didn't had issues with the controls. The chances of a DB game being on a Nintendo console is unlikely since DB games don't sell well on Nintendo consoles. It seems like after the Gamecube, Nintendo lost most of it's hardcore gamers market compare to what we have now with the PS4 and Xbox One.

I'm surprised no one has mentioned this: balance the races and genders. Examples would be...
Earthlings: Make them actual "Jack of all Stats" instead of giving them the best stat distributions in the game. Also nerf auto ki regen by making it incapable of stacking with Z-Soul effects. Keep the attack boost at max ki though.
Saiyans: Instead of having their "high attack" be base on either Basic Attack (male) or Supers (female), do like what they did with Earthlings and have males focus on melee and females focus on ki blasts. Make sure they're also the race with the highest offensive stats while having the lowest health out of all races and make sure they share said health stat like Earthlings. Also keep the attack boosts from revival and low health, but get rid of the other abilities since they're crap.

Have female majins have lower health than male Majins and Namekians in exchange for more speed, but keep it higher than Earthlings, Saiyans, and Freeza Race.
Freeza Race: Nerf their attack stats to actually match race description, but in exchange have Freeza Race have slightly faster attack speed than other races. Movement speed boost should stay and be higher than all other races. Slightly boost attack and movement speed at 50% health. Attack stats should be equal all around and lower than Earthling and Saiyans, but higher than Namekians and Majins while health should be lower than Earthlings but higher than Saiyans. Stun ki attack should remain.

Hahaha thanks. I would love to work with Namco Bandai one day, but game developing is a lot of hard work. I took a game design class before and video game making is a lot of work. I just like making new ideas for fun.

Stop pretending a brawler can work as a multiplayer RPG: give the game a realistic life cycle by removing the RNG entirely by tying attacks and gear to game progress or previous item collections as the twenty-first century games have always done, and instead focus on more thoughtful implementation of single combat and group play as different things.
You could say I am telling Xenoverse to stop being Xenoverse; I like to think of it as telling Xenoverse to emphasize what it promised to do rather than have the nerve to suggest a brawler can have you playing 65 hours and not have everything. Dimps, the sad feeling of having obtained everything in an anime game is no less sad if its taken the player dozens more hours to get there: particularly if all they have show for it is more stuff to use in hard locked sub-three minute PvP matches. High-level Pokemon is a more proportional experience. So much of Xenoverse just seems like Dimps had a vision that was so big, even with their unusually long development time, that it took so much time just to get it all working that by the time everything was up and running they didn't have a game; kind of like how Star Fox Assault was supposed to have come about. I just have a really hard time believing that their grand master plan after over a year was Tales of the World Radiant Mythology: Dragon Ball edition. Even some of the critic reviews were pointing out the disconnect.
