I loved the whole "Solo Training" arc. It was a lot of fun to watch. I also loved the filler in the "Heavenly Training" arc. I also like the driving episode (like pretty much everyone else).

Also, as mentioned above, the Gohan filler.

1. The obvious driving episode. In fact when I finally get rid of my Z collection on my computer and replace it with Kai I'm going to keep the driving episode and label it as a "special." It feels like it belongs.
2. Great Saiyaman filler is really good. It really made it feel like the Buu saga was meant to be lighthearted and fun.
3. Otherworld tournament was good because it gave us something fun to watch during the time skip. I almost wish it was part of the manga and it revealed that there was something "beyond the beyond super saiyan" (or something) which would hint at SSJ3.

I would have enjoyed the other Trunks Saga/Android Saga filler with Vegeta and Bulma a lot more if Vegeta showed interest in her at all. I know Toriyama can't write a love story to save his life but I'm sure some writer at Toei could have added some filler to really round out his character.
Imp. Cell: "Do you think you're being CUTE?"
SSJ Vegeta: "Bitch, I'm adorable."

My favorite filler eps were the Gohan-training-in-the-wasteland episodes. Actually, back when I watched the series on Danish TV for the first time, I remember identifying a lot with Gohan because of these episodes. It also made his development feel all the more realistic.

There should be a witty quote or something down here. I'm just not imaginative enough to come up with anything.

As others have mentioned previously before, I found most of the Gohan focused fillers to be great. My favorites probably being Gohan's birthday before Cell games (a bunch of sweet and funny moments to just make you smile ^^) and Gohan training in the wastelands in Saiyan arc. Oh loved Krillin vs Cell as well, it was just fun to watch.

Also can't forget the infamous driving episode, comedy gold. :D

Goku vs Majin Vegeta. It was like 3 punches n the manga, all off screen....bad move Toriyama. Toei gave the fight the treatment it DESERVED! The manga version is disappointing.

Tenshinhan actually using the Mafuba and not just saying "oh, a hole ... damn ... well, okay, let's fight him normally" and Videl chasing Gohan instead of saying "how did you get out of class" 5 minutes after they did.

- Goku & Pikkon vs Cell & Frieza ..IN HELL!! dun dun dun
- Super Saiyan Goku using Kiaoken
- Goku powers up so his black hair has the SSJ sytle.
- Gohan's trials in the Saiyan Saga (Dinosaur, Robot, Orphans)
- Goku & Piccolo driving
- Ginyu Force vs. Yamcha, Tein, and Chiaotzu (King Kai calls Ginyu's a bunch of Goofs)

Lord Beerus wrote:- Gohan's training and survival prior to the Saiyan's arrival: This is arguably my favorite filler in all of Dragon Ball. The way that Gohan's character was developed and evolved was fantastic. You really saw how the trials and tribulations transformed Gohan from a scared little boy into a child solider. I became a fan of the character because of those filler episodes. They were that well done.
Agreed. I like the driving episode as well, but Gohan's training filler arc is excellent in my opinion. It gave a lot of edible meat, so to speak, to that part of the story. I always look forward to watching it whenever I go through DBZ.

My only complaint with it is that it always bugged me on the last episode of that filler arc how Gohan's clothes suddenly change from his orange getup to his trademark purple getup. There's no explanation for it either - it just magically changes. That's a minor gripe though. The rest of the arc is great.

SSJ2 Goku Vs Majin Vegeta as that enite fight basically was skipped in the manga. People on youtube bash it for 90% of it being made by Toei, but it was all really good stuff. It doesn't mater if it wasn't in the manga,Toriyama didn't seam to care about the fight but at east Toei gave us the full fight rather then it being off screen.

Also Base Vegito vs Buuhan was amazing.

Goku Vs Pikkon

Garlic Jr.

SSJ2 Goku Vs Kid Buu.

Goku and his friends at the amusement park. It's all so odd and fun.

Literally all of original Dragon Ball filler, it's all fun and well done even when creating plot holes.
The Saiyan Arc has the best filler in Z, i enjoy all of it. Also the driving episode and the Other World tournament.

I like the episodes with the mirror ship. It's a nice little prelude to Freeza.

The Gohan filler in the Saiyan Saga. It just made Piccolo bonding with him much more credible. Vegeta and Nappa on Arila was great too, it's just so funny. The driving episode of course and I love the Otherworld Tournament character designs, even though I think the arc itself is kinda lacking.
Also liked the Z Warriors figthing the Ginyu Force on Kaio's planet, even though it doesn't make much sense.

I love all the filler but I love the other world tournament the best because that's where my Paikuhan is! :D
The Dragonboxes are like a middle aged woman who still looks good through simply taking good care of her skin and body with maybe a tiny bit of makeup while the Orange Bricks are like a middle aged woman who get's 50 tons of botox, makeup and plastic surgery in order to look younger and as a result looks even worse. ~ ringworm128
Still recording Toonami broadcasts on VHS after all these years!
#1 Paikuhan fan!

Almost all of the fighting filler is acceptable IMO i don't even count that as a "Filler" that's part of the show for me.

For non-fight related filler i'd say my Fav one is the Goku's nightmare...i know its just a dream but Its just so DARK.

I agree 100%. It's not like other show filler, it actually all fits. Naruto filler should be more like Z filler, not random 10 episodes about side characters in a dessert for no reason -_-

I love the filler, honestly if they made "extra" episodes of Z that were nothing but filler, I'd be happy. More Pikkon, more everyday antics stuff, and more awesome new characters. I think Broly would have been great as his own saga.
