Universe 6 tournament combatants?

Fighters: Goku, Vegeta, Freeza, Piccolo, Gotenks.
Cheerleaders: Beerus/Whis.

Universe 6

Fighters: 5 new characters.
Cheerleaders: Champa/Vados.

How they would power up:

Goku, Vegeta, Goten, Trunks, will train under Whis/Beerus.
Piccolo would search for the Namekians Book of Legends and power up thanks to that.
Freeza would be revived and train for another 4 months.

U7 dream team at the moment: Goku, Vegeta, Future Trunks, GT Vegeta, and a brand new promising fighter from some alien planet.

Obviously my team involves people from alternate timelines but as far as we know there's no restrictions on that yet!

Don't get why people want to see Frieza in this. Like how does that make any sense at all? They killed him in RF, so why would we want to see yet ANOTHER Frieza comeback, he needs to just stay dead. And why would he be fighting with the good guys to keep Earth? He doesn't care about Earth, and even destroyed it, and there's no way he'd be on the same team as Goku, Veget, etc. anyways.

And I also think people are thinking too much into this ancient Namekian book. Yes, I would love to see Piccolo get some kind of power up, but that seemed like a throwaway line that they never plan on using again. Plus that would be too DBNAish, so don't wanna see something like it in the real show.

As for mine, I hope they choose:
1. Goku
2. Vegeta
3. Gohan
4. Trunks
5. Goten

It kinda makes the most sense, since they're obviously the strongest, and more relevant than any of the other cast.

I know people don't want them to be the focus just because they're Saiyans, but I don't care if they are or not, they're just the strongest and more important than anyone esle has been so far.

Actually forgot about Buu, but I'd still personally pick them over Buu. But lately, Gohan hasn't done much, and judging by how he's been portrayed so far, I doubt he'd be as excited to enter the tournament. Just by what we've seen, but I'm sure some people would be angry if he's not included.

I don't think Gohan will go to universe 6 because of his daughter, Goten and Trunks will not got either because of the same reason as ROF.

Freeza? Um... I'm pretty certain he's gonna bite the dust in the ROF arc. What makes you think otherwise?

I'm sure he'll still be killed but I like the idea of Beerus making some kind of a deal with him so that Golden Frieza would be one of his handpicked fighters. He is one of the strongest beings in the Universe after all and it could mean that with further training he could fix the Golden forms weakness.

There were people who didn't like that he was brought back only to be killed again and so it would fix that problem.

I also think it'd make things very interesting where you had Goku and Frieza on the same team and Frieza can't stand him but he plays a long because at the same time he's scared of Beerus.

It'd be a good dynamic, better than just having say Krillin.

My Dream Team is

4. Gotenks (Who maybe gets disqualified if he defuses)
5. Piccolo or Boo

Though Gohan may not join because his daughters future is on the line, and defending that is Goku's job and not his own. Goten and Trunks I think are a shoe in as they're kid appeal. Everyone else I ain't sure about as it could really go either way.

I am also hoping someone to break the rules (Beerus or Shampa) if their respective team is losing or close to lose.

No, they aren't. Freeza one shots Gohan.
Pretty sure that for Freeza anything is better than being in that Hell, surrounded of stuffed toys everyday.
And Buu is stronger than Goten/Trunks.

No they totally do mean something considering officially the idea has been used 6 times already. Don't care if people scream filler and it doesn't count. Officially in 6 animated products, Freeza has returned (1 of which is in the manga). They have thought of the idea 6 times already.
