This is an old thread I created way back in October. It predates Cabba and all of Team Champa. I was surprised to see it bumped earlier this afternoon.
I guess the person who bumped it just decided to continue the thread instead of start a new one since this already was there? I don't know. ^^;
My current guess as to the topic itself is the RR vs King Piccolo theory is what happened to Uni 6 Earth.
So far there's no reason to believe that Universe 6 has/had the same individuals as Universe 7. The Nameless Namekian, RR, Goku and whatever are likely not to ever existed(Goku we know can't have).
Anyway I doubt he'll ever know, they brushed it pretty quickly and didn't elaborate. Maybe in a interview.

Most likely it was a nuclear event, because nobody was able to reach a consensus about which country/sector had the best idol.
Fallout happened in Dragon Ball.
I'd mark out if one Human still exists and he wears armor similar to something of the nature of Fallout

I still haven’t lived down going, “Who the heck is Tao Pai-pai?” that one time I was talking with Ei’ichiro Oda-kun. But the fact that there are still people reading the series after all this time… All I can say is; “thank you.” Really, that’s all.

And that you also have IMMENSELY skewed and comically backwards priorities in what you think is most important and needed to make a good Dragon Ball story.

i dont think it really matters who or what destroyed earth in U6. Doesnt matter as humans will no longer be relevant in dragon ball super as fighters (they only make the best food apparently).
Goku was the "first" canon good saiyan, he (or his equivalent) might as well have been the first evil one in Universe 6. That might be the case, considering how the Kaios from Universe 6 reacted to him (see the manga chapter 7).
Isn't it said that Universe 6 and 7 mirror each other with minor changes? I think good proof of this would be when Vegeta speaks with Cabba. When Cabba speaks of Planet Salad after the Saiyan "civil war" Vegeta responds as if he knows a lot about it. That insinuates it happens in both universes. With that said, I think the obvious choice would be Goku never hit his head and headed up destroying Earth for Freeza. If Goku is completely taken out of the picture then maybe Pilaf fulfilled his wish of being Emperor and ended up getting into a stupid war. It might make sense considering Pilaf and his gang are back in Super and can be seen at the U6 vs U7 tournament in the stands. Not that that means they are foreshadowing, but it is interesting that they are still around and haven't provided anything story wise other than being comic relief. I dont know lol, its just an idea.
Dr Slump crossover was just that - a silly crossover not meant to be taken seriously.It doesn't mean that they're in the same universe, and they can't be, there's too many contradictions. Only Jaco, because that's official prequel and Neko Majin easter eggs.
It feels like barking up the wrong tree to look for Universe 7 parallels playing a role in their destruction. For one thing, nothing between universes seems to involve doubling to that extent. For another, everything about it just reads like a little real-world hyperbolic bleakness thrown into the mix. We can imagine the Earth of Universe 6 might slightly better resemble our own.
