I argue a lot in yt comments about sub vs dub. I'm ... not proud of that, let's just say that, it can get really messy.

Everytime people bring in GT and someone suddenly has to bring in canonicity. And does not even have it right. Main area for this is youtube.

I don't really get into arguments in the YouTube comment section, but the ignorant arguments that people have used against the Kai dub (Kai in general, but the dub seems to receive the most bashing) brought me pretty close sometimes. I just have to shake my head and remind myself that everyone's got an opinion and I have to respect it.

Yep, youtube comments are truly dark place. But i'm learning to ignore them, getting better as time moves on! It sadly shows what majority of english fanbase is like.
