Current Super arc is a rehash of Otherworld Tournament arc

That's why I don't post much in the episode threads outside of my initial reaction post to the episode itself; those threads all fill up with negativity after a while.

*Goes to the Super episode discussion to see the content,pro's and con's of the episode only to see another big pile of Animation whining,GT vs. Super discussion and fan's nitpicking even the most minor things* I feel you.

Same, more or less. I also tend to be at least an episode or two behind depending on circumstances, so that doesn't help much either.

Dragon Ball anime has been dead so long, that Toriyama may come up with ideas that other fans already had. SSB hair color is other example.
This is a big fanbase.

Only because we are going multiverse route, doesn't mean its 100% the same.

I don't read DB Multiverse, but seems like all the other universes are just different version of the main one, with the same characters.

Toriyama came up with the idea of having unique/twin universes and a brilliant formula to find out each one pair. No one saw it comng,
People thought it would be either like DBM or everything different. And despiste Universe 6 be a twin universe, we're still having new characters.

Does DBM even have new characters?!

If you want to use the word "rehash", at least say its a rehash of Baba's Tournament/Otherworld Tournament arc. Its 5 vs 5.
But going by that logic, there's a lot of rehash.

U6 tournament is also just the beginning of something bigger, like the Buu arc.

Having different versions of characters and events is arguably the most interesting thing about the different universes concept. Completely original characters don't need to be from another universe, they can just be from a planet on the other side of the universe.

And yes, DBM does have original characters.

That's why I've been so far disappointed in Team Champa; I was hoping for some alternate history stuff and got all OC's instead. ^^; I wanted to see an AU Gokû and Vegeta so badly. It's like why make Uni 6 a mirror at all, you know?

But! I can always draw my own so I'm not completey down and out; I wish it didn't have to come to that though.
