I imagine him being the Dragon Ball equivalent of the Living Tribunal.

Generally thats not how it works. Most omniscient's are ultimately have some form of omnipotence aswell because if your an omniscient then your literally all knowing! Meaning you also know how to become omnipotent or defeat someone aswell.Hitiro wrote:Zarama has Omniscience(Omniscient), it should not be confused with omnipotence. Omnipotence is having ultimate power. Basically being god. Omniscience(Omniscient) is having ultimate knowledge or to literally know everything in the universe basically infinite/universal knowledge.

I think you're confusing Zuno with Zarama.Zuno is the one who is confirmed omniscient.Zarama is the one who created super dragon balls and all we know so far about him was that the Super Dragon Balls he created can grant any wish.Hitiro wrote:Zarama has Omniscience(Omniscient), it should not be confused with omnipotence. Bad comparison. Living Tribunal's job is to protect existence and prevent imbalances, or any being or group from gaining too much power or causing too much trouble. Zarama just leaves a means for anyone to make a wish and gain too much power or cause too much trouble with it if they want. One is a preventer of chaos and the other is an enabler of it.Geekdom101 wrote:I imagine him being the Dragon Ball equivalent of the Living Tribunal.
Cool stuff that I upload here because Youtube will copyright claim it: https://vimeo.com/user60967147
Re: Is Zarama Omnipotent?
That is not how it works at all. Look up the definition of Omniscient. It literally says to have universal/infinite knowledge. Omnipotence means having infinite power, basically being an actual God. And just because you're all knowing doesn't mean you know how to make yourself omniscient. How do you know that with all the knowledge in the world there still is no way to know how to actually become Omnipotent? Maybe there is no way except being born like that or may be it is a difficult task which would require many millennia in order to accomplish. It really depends on if there is an actual way to become Omnipotent for someone with Omniscience to be able to do it. So yeah, Zumo could know everything in the universe and even though he knows everything there is actually no way to become Omnipotent or there is a way but the method is sealed off. Just like if there weren't 6 Saiyan's SSJGod would never have been made. So in that scenario while Zuno could know how to make one it would be useless if Goku and Vegeta were the only Saiyan's and didn't have any offspring.Protege wrote:Generally thats not how it works. That is what I'm doing. My bad.SSJ3 Vegeta wrote:I think you're confusing Zuno with Zarama.Zuno is the one who is confirmed omniscient.Zarama is the one who created super dragon balls and all we know so far about him was that the Super Dragon Balls he created can grant any wish.

I know that! I'm just saying that a mind can be a very powerful tool. I mean some characters Lex Luthor were able to convince Superman to commit suicide thru just WORDS! So in a way knowledge can also be considered as power but depends how you apply it.Hitiro wrote:That is not how it works at all. Look up the definition of Omniscient. There is also a Bible quote for this which i think is interesting "The wise are mightier than the strong, and those with knowledge grow stronger and stronger." Proverbs 24:5
So i think if someone is true omniscient and has no limits to his knowledge, then he can apply his knowledge into a form of power which would have no limits either.
Re: Is Zarama Omnipotent?
Yes, someone omniscient, by definition, would know how to do everything that is possible to be done. That would put him or her very close to being omnipotent, and it could even mean being omnipotent if there was a possible way to become omnipotent (which he or her would know).
The only differences, assuming that there would be no possible way to become omnipotent, would be:
- needing time to use the knowledge, while someone omnipotent would be able to do anything instantly; and
- not being able to do impossible things, while for someone omnipotent there are no impossible things.
