Just have the villain bribe Whis to train them by offering him really tasty food. Seriously, training with Whis produces miracles. Look at Vegeta.

What if Freeza had trained with Whis for 4 months?...Lord Beerus wrote:Just have the villain bribe Whis to train them by offering him really tasty food. Seriously, training with Whis produces miracles. Look at Vegeta.

Not too crazy considering how an Earthling was able to make two teenage robots more powerful then the Emperor of the Universe in just a few short years based on analytic data of Pre-Freeza Saga power levels. Also he was naturally born with a PL of 60-120,000,000 (or w/e) without training thus you'd think he'd gain faster by actually doing training, especially with Freeza's race able to withstand extreme conditions so the training regiment could have been a lot more brutal.Cipher wrote:Train

The Gods of Destruction are the current power ceiling, so i can't see next villain(s) being necessarily stronger.

Zen-O/his 2 attendants/all 12 Hakaishin/their attendants potara fusion, the only force strong enough to last more than a minute against the new villain:Vados_chan wrote:The Gods of Destruction are the current power ceiling, so i can't see next villain(s) being necessarily stronger.

Herms wrote:The fact that the ridiculous power inflation is presented so earnestly makes me just roll my eyes and snicker. Like with Freeza, where he starts off over 10 times stronger than all his henchmen except Ginyu (because...well, just because), then we find out he can transform and get even more powerful, and then he reveals he can transform two more times, before finally coming out with the fact that he hasn't even been using anywhere near 50% of his power. Oh, and he can survive in the vacuum of space. All this stuff is just presented as the way Freeza is, without even an attempt at rationalizing it, yet the tone dictates we're supposed to take all this silly grasping at straws as thrilling danger. So I guess I don't really take the power inflation in the Boo arc seriously, but I don't take the power inflation in earlier arcs seriously either, so there's no net loss of seriousness. I think a silly story presented as serious is harder to accept than a silly story presented as silly.

I'm starting to think we won't get a villain in Super. Maybe Toriyama only intends for Super to be a light-hearted story since he set in during the 10 years of "peace" and every stronger characters was a neutral deity and not an actual villain. During the U6 saga, there were theories about Champa having a sinister motive for gathering the Dragonballs or that someone was going to jump in and steal them but it ended up being a friendly tournament. Hit was a neutral or amoral assassin and not someone trying to take over the universe.
If we get a threat that's stronger than Goku and Vegeta then it would be a repeat of RoF with Beerus and Whis standing in the background ready to step in if they need to. It wouldn't really be a threat and more like a tough training session. If there's someone strong enough to threaten Beerus then likely Champa would intervene. They may have a sibling rivalry but they seem to care about each other. If there was a threat stronger than Beerus, Champa, Vados, and Whis then that would likely be a multi-universe threat and the Zeno himself might have to get involved. If there was someone out there who could challenge Zeno then they would be well beyond Goku and Vegeta and they wouldn't be of much help anyway.
I guess the story has come full circle because now it's close to how it was in early Dragonball
. Back then there wasn't a villain and the goal was just to become the strongest. The only antagonists were the other strong guys at the tournament.

But I heard an interview saying that Toriyama originally wanted to make SSJGSSJ/SSJB have white hair, but he decided not to due to the color scheme already being taken by a new planned villain.Skar wrote:I'm starting to think we won't get a villain in Super. So there is going to be a villain with white hair, or a white-colored body.

Re: How will we get stronger villians?
Could that villain have been Freeza? I know the interview was released after RoF but I mean if it's going to clash with the next villain's color scheme then why didn't he use the white hair in RoF and then blue against the next villain? If it's going to clash with the next villain then he would have to pick another color and hold off from using white again. Toriyama said he doesn't plan for Goku and Vegeta to surpass Beerus any time so I think if we do get another villain before the next tournament then it would be a repeat of RoF. The villain would only be a threat to the Z fighters with Beerus and Whis standing in the background.Polyphase Avatron wrote:But I heard an interview saying that Toriyama originally wanted to make SSJGSSJ/SSJB have white hair, but he decided not to due to the color scheme already being taken by a new planned villain.
