Do you want to:
-go in the cave? Go to page 11
-ignore it and walk on by? Go to page 52

Page 52: As you are walking down the road, a rock falls on you. You are dead.
You are then stuck with the idea of having intercourse with fourteen melons, or conga dancing

You're right, none of us like you. We all love you, Gen-sama.
Wait, I said love, but don't get any wrong ideas.
I don't like like Zackgato, maybe Zagato or Zackato. No, just call me the same stuff you always do. In other words, anything but Zackarotto, and maybe occasionally call me that.

Will do then. Love the new avatar, looks slick!
Tablet: I don't think Psyliam meant to infer that he doesn't like you. You know he usually always jokes around like that and makes it sound as if he's serious.

That's schoolastic screwing up BIG. They're only supposed to sell products for kids 12 and under. SJ is what? At LEAST 13?Apparently she bought the magazine out of a Schoolastic (sp?) take home catalog, which has since officially stopped carrying the magazine.

Tablet is the Super Awesome Guy!
Anime is treated exactly in the same way as computer games in the US. They are a kids thing. Shops/parents can't quite get the idea of them being for a more mature age group. Hence parents buying their kids Vice City when they'd never let them see Kill Bill, and buying their kids Shonen Jump when they'd never let them read Carrie.

Here's an interesting one from The Citadel of Chaos:Zackarotto wrote:Okay, but in the decent ones, there are multiple endings and long paths of even more choices before you die from a mistake. Well very rarely will you find such a choose your own adventure gem, but take it from me, because I've read trillions of them.
"You're fighting the uber-invincible monsters that can't be killed."
*uses evil Spider on monsters*
"Evil Spider turns on you. Fight him. Evil Spider is poisonous, so if he hits you, you die no matter how much HP you have left." If you win, go to page 12
Page 12: Uber-invicible monsters attack you. You freak out and run through a door. Go to page 64.
Page 64: Damn, no floor. You fall down a long hole. If you have a Levitation spell, go to page 71 to use it. If not, go to page 49.
Page 71: You try the spell. For some reason, it doesn't work. So you fall to your death.
Page 49: You fall to your death.
Yeah, it was stupid.

Yeah, my mom works at an elementary school, so she brings home those book orders Scholastic carries (or should I say carried?) Shonen Jump, plus the Dragonball Z, One Piece, Yu Yu Hakusho, and Shaman King Graphic Novels.
Battle High 2, starring Kyle Hebert as well as myself, has been released on Xbox 360, OUYA, PC, Linux, Mac, and Xbox One!

Seriously? They also offer the graphic novels? Idiots!
Hey, do get to order from them and do you get a discount?
You know I thought of something about the "Choose Your Own Adventure" genre in connection with DBZ. One of the best parodies on that is on Meri's "Temple 'O Trunks" site. It's a really fun read.

So, I'm at my local Chapters bookstore today, which I usually try to steer clear from since all their "new age yuppie crap targeting" gets on my nerves, not to mention their asinine Oprah Book Club section.
I wanted to pick up the May issue of Shonen Jump though, and they were on the way. Happened to browse in their Grapic Novel section and was pleased to see that they at least had stocked their Shonen Jump titles, Yu Yu Hakusho included in the Teen section. I was reminded back to the incident in this post, and I thought, well, at least somebody offers them in accordance with their rating. Then I happen to browse through the DVD and Video section and see that they have a tiiiiiny stock of anime for sale, and well, my reassurance fades as I notice that they've actually stocked "Sagwa:the Chinese Siamese Cat" under Anime. *sigh.*

Hey, hey I actually did have a subscription to Shonen Jump, Mr. "Jump-To-Conclusions", my subscription came up for renewal for the May issue and I haven't had a chance to renew it yet, okay?!
And Sagwa is this educational cartoon show that is shown on PBS and TVOntario, based on children's books written by Amy Tan. If you ever see the show, you can tell quite plainly the animation isn't even close to the anime style, let alone the fact that the show has the word "Chinese" in it!
Sheesh! Putting it in that section to me is practically bordering on "racist stereotyping". Just because something's animated and seems Asian, doesn't mean it's anime.
