BoG : 35/100
Nothing good except there was some good fighting choreography in the Gokuu Beers fight and some of the character interactions were funny.Overall a below average arc. Best episode in the arc 11.
RoF:5/100
I gave it a 5 because of Ryuusei Nakao. He is the only reason i even watched this arc. There is absolutely nothing i liked in this pointless piece of shit.
Champa: 55/100
Okay-ish arc. Champa&Beers Champa&Vados had great interactions which made me laugh a lot. Gokuu v Hitto and Vegeta v Magetta were good fights. Hitto's beatdown of Vegeta was also good the choreography was amazing.Thats about it. I would have included Piccolo v Frost too but the outcome pissed me off so much that i just hate that fight. There are a lot of negatives in this arc but i am sure someone else will cover that. Best episodes in the arc 38&39.

Battle of Gods arc - Pretty good I suppose, the Goku vs Beerus fight is Super's best fight still. Stayed close enough to the movie.
7.5/10
Resurrection F arc - Not too bad either, the first half was fine, the latter half once the fights started were a mixed bag. People go over the top with this arc, it wasn't that bad.
7/10
Champa - Already gave my opinions on this arc. Best arc so far.

Battle of Gods arc 75/100
I really enjoyed the Battle of Gods retelling for the most part but what holds it back from being great is the combination of dragged out episodes and the fact that this story has already been told before and has been told better.
The fight between God Goku and Beerus was far too long, it should have been 3 episodes maximum. Episodes 4, 7 and 12 I found a chore to sit through because they all felt so dragged out.
What makes this arc really good is the fantastic new humour, character interactions and some really great episodes such as episodes 2, 6, 10 and 11... especially 11.
Resurrection 'F' arc 60/100
I would have scored this lower if it weren't for episodes 15-18, they were absolutely fantastic and really didn't deserve to be the lead up to the poor Resurrection 'F' retelling.
Most of the fights here are either poorly animated or just downright boring. The only good bits of action here is Tate's cut in episode 26 and SSB Vegeta's beat down on Freeza.
Ginyu's return felt out of place. It was cool to see Tagoma get used more but that ultimately meant nothing once Ginyu came back. Episode 24 makes me want to fucking vomit. Most of the animation here is piss poor.
The biggest reason as to why I didn't like this retelling is because I literally only saw the movie months ago before watching this arc! It's still fresh in my mind. It is miiiiiles better than this retelling and there were so many missed opportunities to at least make the retelling feel fresh. It really was a complete mess.
What also really annoys me is that in the long run this arc will stick out like a sore thumb due to it being so out of place in the overall plot of Super. The show is about Goku and the gang meeting new Gods and visiting other universes... oh yeah, also, within this show there's an arc where Freeza comes back... What? Why? Resurrection 'F' worked wonderfully as a film, but as a story arc in Dragon Ball Super? Hell fucking no.
But hey! At least episode 27 was awesome.
Universe 6 v Universe 7 Tournament arc 90/100
I loved this arc. The new characters were awesome, yes, I was kinda disappointed that Frost was just another evil Freeza but it didn't detract much from my overall enjoyment. I was kinda disappointed that Piccolo didn't fight much. Not all the fights are entertaining. Goku vs Botamo and Goku vs Frost are both very polarising and stiff in the animation department.
Those are literally my only major complaints though. Hit is an absolute fucking awesome character that I want to see more of. Cabba is really interesting due to him fighting like Vegeta, I'm really interested to see where Vegeta and Cabba's relationship goes. Magetta was a lot of fun to watch. All the fights after Goku vs Frost were tons of fun to watch, especially Goku vs Hit... that is going down as one of my favourite fights in the series.
The humour here is fantastic as well. Champa and Vados are both great characters and their interactions with one another are a treat to watch. I love how oblivious Champa can be when Vados insults him. Same goes with the banter between Beerus and Vados, great stuff! Episode 31 with Jaco and Bulma was sooo much fun, I laughed my ass off when I saw that. There's also stupid funny stuff like Magetta literally losing because Vegeta insulted him and he got really offended, Goku accidentally grabbing the Galactic King's schlong, Monaka's "fight" with Hit and a bunch of other stuff. It's all great. I'm really happy with this story arc and cannot wait to see what comes next.
So yeah, those are my thoughts on each story arc. Overall, I do really enjoy Dragon Ball Super, it's just held back by the retellings and some of the poor animation. Its new material is fantastic.

Battle of Gods arc 70/100 - for me the movie is an 100/100, so whatever the arc botched didn't quite manage to botch the whole thing. I liked the fight with Beerus very much, especially the beggining where Beerus helps Goku get accostumed to the God powers, Pilaf's episode was good and funny, the Vegeta antics were great. I didn't like episode 12 and the Oolong episode and they dragged the pacing down a lot.
Ressurection of F arc 35/100 - while managing to solve many issues raised by the movie, which is the only reason it gets that high a note, the arc as a whole falls flat. Tagoma gets some interesting development, then that's screwed by Ginyu taking over his body, the Goku vs Freeza fight is horrible. The only highlight of the arc is Vegeta's beatdown of Frieza.
Champa arc 93/100 - the arc starts strong with some great worldbuilding but that almost gets undone by Goku vs Botamo and the Frost revelation of him actually being a bad guy. Outside of that, most of the tournament fights are decent, with the final Goku vs Hit one being amazing. Vegeta vs Hit is the highlight for me, though. The usual animation problems of Super hold the arc down from being a nearly perfect arc (a 95).

Re: Kanzenshuu Members Grade DB Super By Arcs!
Battle of Gods Arc: 43%
Plot Originality: 20%
Poor. Some departure from Battle of Gods, but largely superficial differences. Essentially, the arc dragged a sub-2 hour film out across 12 episodes - this made for awful pacing and a poor dramatic spectacle.
Script Strength: 30%
There were some fun episodes - Episode 2 is a particularly stand out departure from the Battle of Gods plot, but on the whole, there wasn't enough invention from the source material to warrant any high marks.
Art and Animation Quality: 50%
There were some great shots and some solid episodes - Episode 5 wasn't even that awful in retrospect, but there were still big issues.
Voice acting Performances: 70%
A saving grace. There were issues with Yanami which I think need to be mentioned, but I don't think that should be used to beat the show with.
Revenge of F Arc: 43%
Plot Originality: 30%
Poor. Initially some departure from ROF with Goku and Vegeta's training, but beyond that, they were largely superficial differences - even Piccolo's death felt baselessly superficial - which is nuts.
Script Strength: 30%
Again, there were some fun episodes, but on the whole, there wasn't enough invention from the source material to warrant any high marks. The Ginyu stuff was fun, despite being incredibly silly.
Art and Animation Quality: 40%
Episode 24 was a new low water-mark for the franchise. Animation inconsistencies only seemed to grow from the previous arc.
Voice acting Performances: 70%
Once again, a saving grace.
God of Destruction Champa Arc: 65%
Plot Originality: 70%
An exaggerated weighting. We've had tournaments before, and in this one, we got alternative Universe clone of Freeza. As far as refreshing ideas went, this arc had few, and so it speaks volumes of what preceded it that I've marked it so highly.
Script Strength: 50%
Nothing blew me away. Competent, but not compelling.
Art and Animation Quality: 60%
Less low points, but mitigated by a lack of highs. Overall it was consistently uninspiring.
Voice acting Performances: 80%
There was a palpable sense of relief in the veteran cast to get their teeth into original stuff. New cast additions were solid.

First of all... I want to point out my dislike towards BOG and FnF Arcs, especially towards FnF.
I want to make a comparison between the arcs and movies.
Battle of Gods Arc:
It definitely would have been a big opportunity to transform the movie into an arc, but the result was not quite the way it might have been, after all.
Contras towards the movie version and in general:
- I didn't really like that was no mention about the Original Super Saiyan God at all, neither about his conflict with the evil Saiyans.
- No mention about how Freeza would possibly know about Super Saiyan God, when Vegeta didn't.(they miss the opportuniy expand upon this)
- Dende sensing Beerus being weaker then maybe Yajibore(even if he's a kami of Earth) when Piccolo couldn't having Kami already fused with him.
- The animation in some episodes(!)
- Vegeta cooking
- The lack of the Pilaf Gang scene with enprisoning Trunks.
Pros in general:
- The Super Saiyan God ritual and transformation(yeah, that's the way it should go down)
- The Namekian Book of Legends
I'd give it a 70/100.
Resurrection F Arc
Totally pointless boring plot. The worst Arc and idea in my opinion. The only good thing about is the SSJ Blue aura(not the form) which happened to appear right in this Arc.
10/100
Champa Arc.
This should have been the single story arc to expand upon. It was handled quite well, and the episode 39 felt like a decent Dragon Ball episode. The Kaio-ken SSB was a quite good idea and it seemed to look alright in animation. The only negative point I might come up with is Zen'o's design, to be honest I don't like it one bit.

Battle of Gods -
pros: Goku vs Beerus was more intense and dramatic than in the movie - episodes 11, 13 and 14 were highlights. Better and less anticlimactic resolution. More Beerus and Whis exposition. First two episodes were an awesome introduction to the show.
cons: pacing issues. writers seemed still afraid to make more drastic changes.
rating: 80/100
RoF-
pros: some fan gripes with the movie were addressed, like Goten and Trunks' absence and an attempt to solve the stupidity of Goku's defeat. Nice fan service such as Trunks meeting Freeza. Gohan was more useful and at least they tried to explain the deal with Mystic Gohan. Writing seemed more focused and character-centric. A superior version of Vegeta vs Freeza and the "end of the world" had more impact.
cons: Tagoma was getting nice development that was thrown away for Ginyu. Goku vs Freeza was awful for the most part. The worst arc animation-wise.
rating: I'm gonna include the amazing episodes 16 and 17 here, which is gonna bump the overall rating.
75/100
Champa arc -
pros: Comedy was top notch. Lots of cool moments and spot on characterization. U6 characters showing different abilities and fighting styles that made for unorthodox battles. Introduction of Hit, an intriguing new character; Planet Sadal; Zen'ou and other plot points that expanded the lore and hopefully will all get somewhere. Highlights: Vegeta vs Magetta, Cabbe and Hit; Goku vs Hit and Goku giving the Gods the metaphorical middle finger.
cons: Goku vs Botamo. Episode 41 could've been better.
rating: 95/100

Re: Kanzenshuu Members Grade DB Super By Arcs!
BOG: 84/100 for me just because Beerus and Whis were so different and fresh to a series that ended 20 years ago. I liked the idea of the plot and about Beerus being a God of Destruction expanding the DB world beyond imagination! My reason for giving it a 84 is because I felt that the arc had just a bit too much comedy for a arc about a God of Destruction wagering to blow up the Earth. The Super Saiyan God design was so different and fresh compared to your normal SSJ forms. loved the lore behind the form. Animation/art wise the only bad egg I can knock on is episode 5 which really doesn't effect the score I gave.
ROF: 42/100 for me because we have a returning villain that has already had more than his fair share of screen time, we don't have much a backstory of the villain's supporting henchmen. Freeza's 4 month training I felt should have been with Champa stemming from his jealousy of Beerus having a Earth and could have tied into the U6 arc's plot. The art/animation really took a dive a lot of times during the arc and not the best story telling. The arc so far had no everlasting effects and it can be completely ignored unlike the BOG arc that is still being expanded upon. I felt like the entire arc was just to give Gohan an excuse to train which could have been done in a different way. I felt like Tagoma could have really been a interesting threat to the supporting cast while Goku and Vegeta took care of Freeza, but they kill it with bringing back Ginyu. The new form "Super Saiyan Blue" is to this day still not explained.
Champa: 73/100 for me because the tournament was very enjoyable, a little disappointment in character designs. It felt very rushed to me but I felt that the ending made up for it in the long run. art/animation was mostly great, we got to meet new races and got to see Super Shenlong! Who's design felt like something out of Yu-Gi-Oh!. We got to see people starting to use different technique's like Frost's poison needle instead of transforming to become stronger. We got to learn about U6 and the Sayians that live there. Cabba being Vegeta's in some terms apprentice was nice, that's what Vegeta always wanted, someone to look up to him. This arc, unlike the ROF arc will be expanded upon thanks to the appearance of the King of Everything setting up a future universal tournament. Hit using his time step technique could also be a result for a future plot since his technique is supposed to be illegal to use.
Super as a complete series: 94/100, After 20 long years I think Toriyama's doing as best as he can with continuing it. I'm enjoying every second of it, and it is so different then "AF" or what some might have expected it to be. He's got an overall good balance of seriousness and comedy, combining both the Dragon Ball and DBZ series together in a way. Sometimes character designs can be underwhelming but it is what it is. The pace is a little to fast and times, and things like SSJB aren't explained thoroughly which it could be later on in the series. The art/animation overall is okay as is the storytelling, but I do feel like after BOG the overall plot took a dive and character designs went a step down.

Re: Kanzenshuu Members Grade DB Super By Arcs!
Both BOG and F Super retellings are lowest parts of series, right with Super 17 arc, i would rate them 30/100, they made Chi-Chi and Buu annoying characters again, had terrible animation, it dragged on, had bad fight choreography, and Super Episode 5 is so far the worst looking episode in DB history (And i know it was fixed a little for home release, but i honestly don't care, who thought it was good idea to release episode looking like this? Still, the amount of videos it spawn, it even get on news in one country, it is almost incredible)
Champa Saga is another story, finally fights looks cool, animation improved, still hated the way they treat Piccolo, but, i liked new Universe 6 characters, i rate it 70/100
If you wanna watch Sper, start from Tournament Saga, and avoid Super BoG and F, just watch movies

Re: Kanzenshuu Members Grade DB Super By Arcs!
Battle of Gods Arc: 73/100
A pretty descent arc.It started off well barring the atrocious episode 5,though i didn't like the introduction of Beerus and Whis that much, but Beerus destroying half a planet with a poke is cool.As a Vegeta fan, i really liked the second episode.Sixth episode is one of the best and funniest episode in the series, though episode 7,8,9 and 10 suffered mediocre animation and art.Episode 11,12,13 episode was great, episode 14 was phenomenal and the animation is better than i expected along with the good ending.Though overall,i prefer the movie version but still a good arc.
Revival of 'F' Arc: 80/100
Episode 15 was funny and episode episode 16 was great, the art of the episode was very great.Episode 17 and 18 was also well done, i liked the scene with Vegeta and Goku changing Beerus' bedsheet and also liked Goku and Vegeta's training session.I'm very glad that they fixed the BS 1.3 Million power level thing from the movie.Tagoma was cool and way better than his movie counterpart, though him getting that much stronger was kinda BS.Quite liked how Gotenks made an appearance.Ginyu's return was also cool but i think he got very little screentime, they could doit much better. However, the arc comes way downlow with episode 24 and 25, episode 24 is probably have one of the worst and animation second only to episode 5.The art and animation is abysmal, its painful to watch.Episode 26 have a wonky art, but Tate did a pretty good job movement-wise and his cut is one of the best in the franchise, its worth to watch it over 100x times, also props for making the Sorbet ring scene less stupid.Vegeta and Freeza's fight is very well done, and the art and animation was quite descent. They also made the earth's explosion better than the movie. And i like how they added a little party after the fight. And Trunks referencing his Future counterpart was quite cool.Descent arc overall, quite don't understand the hate for the arc just because episode 24 and 25 are abysmal. If episode 24 and 25 aren't bad, i would rank this arc much higher, probably will give it a 92/100.
Champa Arc 80/100
I already posted most of these in this thread but i added some. The arc started off well.Champa and Vados' appearance in episode 28 was amazing, the way things played out in the episode was great,my only complaint in the episode is that the manga version of Beerus and Champa's fight was miles better than the anime.I actually enjoyed the recap episode and it was nice we got to see some Gohan fanservice. The episode with Bulma and Jaco was quite enjoyable and thee introduction of the Universe 6 combatants played out well. But it would be better if they bring out some guys to cheer for the Universe 6 team like the manga version of the arc.Now with the fights, unlike many other people,i actually quite enjoyed the fight between Botamo and Goku, the latter's reaction faces was quite funny.Frost and Goku's fight was quite short, but we get too see some cool stuff, what happened in the episode was very unpredictable. It's also nice to see Piccolo fighting again, but i quite hated how Frost was a bad guy afterall,i kinda prefered him to be good,i also hate how Vegeta told Piccolo to fuck off.The scene with Hit and Frost in episode 35 was one of the coolest stuffs in the series. The fight between Magetta and Vegeta was great and was one of the few strategy-based fights in the series.I was quite disappointed by how Cabba ended up being Uub 2.0.The first part of the fight between Cabba and Vegeta was not that good, mainly due to a stiffy animation, but things picked up once Cabba turned Super Saiyan. The way Vegeta beats Cabba and gives a speech was also quite cool. The fight between Hit and Vegeta was good, but my inner Vegeta fanboy was raging, especially when Base Goku did better than him.The Kaioken x10 sequence was very very well done, using the opening song for the scene was also a very good idea and fits very well. But i hated how the fight turned out and was also annoyed by Goku 95% of the time.As one of those people who expected Monaka to be strong,i was disappointed when he was confirmed to be just an amateur, but his fight with Hit was one of the funniest thing in the series. The scene with Champa trying to kill his team was well done. It's also nice to see someone who can make Beerus and Champa crap their pants, but i gotta admit i quite hated the design of Zeno, but his voice is very adorable
.The Dragon of the Gods' design was better than i expected and i like how big he is.Overall,a good arc.

Re: Kanzenshuu Members Grade DB Super By Arcs!
Kami to Kami: 70 as it is what resurrected Dragon Ball and introduced a few new interesting things as well as Whis
Fukkatsu no F: A very generous 40, Freeza was a joke but seeing both Super and the movie I can at least see some goods things as his battle theme that I like way more now and Goku as Blueper Saiyajin
Tournament: 70, Kaohken returns, Hit, Vados - there is not really much more, mostly I am generous
At its best as good as some good GT episodes but not the best.

Re: Kanzenshuu Members Grade DB Super By Arcs!
Batte of Gods Saga:
Pros: Great fight between Beerus and Goku. It really shows Super Saiyan God as a powerful transformation instead of the power-up let down it was in the movie. Beerus' pettiness is better shown instead of just implied and we get a better idea of just how dangerous he is. The Super Saiyan God ritual is beautiful. Yeah, it was overly long, but I didn't care. The music and the visuals were spot on and it truly felt like you were witnessing the birth of a god.
Cons: The pacing was a little off and the overall saga could have been two or three episodes shorter. Specifically, Beerus fighting the Z-Figthers and Vegeta's rage could have been done in one episode and the fight with Beerus himself could have been an episode shorter.
Overall: 90/100
Resurrection 'F':
Pros: The episodes leading up to Freeza's revival was fun, funny, and gave great character development to everyone. I enjoyed seeing Goku and Vegeta training with Whis. Freeza came off as more of a threat and you can see just how crazy he has become from torturing Gohan (in front of Goten no less) for reminding him of Goku's mercy towards him, going as far as to call Gohan Goku. Him torturing Togama into insanity still gives me chills, along with him putting a bounty on Krillin's head just so he can cause as much pain as possible to Goku. Freeza shows more how low he's willing to go by targeting Goku's friends during their fight and only stops once Beerus arrives.
Not a popular opinion, but I love what was done with Gohan's development. The consequences of him not training is shown in goring detail. He's helpless before Freeza and can only watched as Piccolo lies down his life to save him again. Even with all his rage, the only thing he can do is raise his power to summon Goku and Vegeta to Earth. He then have to watch Freeza destroy the Earth, killing his wife and baby girl.
Which brings me to the highlight, the Earth's destruction. In the movie, it's treated as more of a plot point than a real sense of drama. Here, you can see several characters in their final moments. 18 sees the destruction coming along with Bulma's parents, Goten, and Trunks. We see Videl and baby Pan die without them even noticing something is wrong. It's a real gut punch that Freeza really did kill all those people's despite him being on his knees in defeat. It also shows that yes, Vegeta royally screwed up and Goku didn't kill steal like many fans complained in the movie.
The ending was also fulfilling, unlike the movie that had a rush ending.
Cons: The fighting was no where near as good as the movie. Although I did enjoy the call backs to the Z-Fighters old attacks, the fights in the movie are some of the best in the entire series, in my opinion, especially the Goku vs. Freeza fight. I was expecting as much of course, but it was still depression. Although I do agree that Vegeta's beat down of Freeza was better, especially given what an ass Freeza is in Super compared to the movie. I also kind of wish Tagama and Ginyu stood around longer, but at the same time, I am not sure what part they would have played. I also wished Gotenks did more than just a cameo.
Overall: 88/100
Champa Saga:
Pros: Great arc all around. It fixed the pacing issues of the previous arcs since we were getting new material, the fights were fast pace and nothing dragged, there were many unexpected twists, and the finale was fulfilling and hilarious at the same time. My personal favorites fights were Piccolo vs Frost, Vegeta vs Magetta, Goku vs Hit. The Kaio-Ken was definitely the highlight and I looked forward to seeing it again in a more completed form. Beerus' wish was heart-warming and really shows he has come a long way from the terror he was in the first story arc. Champa was great in that he drove the plot, but he wasn't a villain and the tournament was completed when most thought it would be interrupted. Hit and Cabba was given some great character development despite the short time we've known them and look forward to seeing them again.
Cons: I wish we got to more of Botama, who got no characterization at all, along with Magetta. Hit's ability comes across as too broken and I hope it has a level cap. My biggest grip is Buu. I was excited for him being in the tournament since we haven't seen good Buu fight since the end of Z, and he didn't do anything. I mean, that was the worst tease of all. I would have loved to see how U6 deals with Buu's near broken power-set and see Buu as a real fighter again.
Overall: 93/100 (I knocked 2 points off for Buu not fighting and just used as a gag.)

Battle of Gods
Pros:
-I love Beerus and Whis as characters. I feel like they fit right in and are one of the best things to happen to modern Dragon Ball.
-The slice-of-life episodes in the beginning were funny and a nice way to begin the new show. Them actually showing Beerus doing his job (destroying) was a nice touch.
-I liked the change of scenery when it came to the party setting.
-The chef Vegeta scene was a good replacement of the bingo scene. The SSG ritual was more grand and spectacular compared to the movie counterpart.
-The Goku vs Beerus fight was great except for episode 12.
-The Mr. Satan episode was hilarious (yes I have this as the final episode of the arc).
Cons:
-Production value. I am not blaming the animators for "not trying." I'm blaming Toei's poor scheduling and planning. This applies to every arc in this series (including the Champa arc), and it is a damn shame that it does.
-The way the Pilaf Gang was handled was very awkward.
-The reveal of Pan was a fucking nightmare and disgrace. It completely ruined what could have been a really touching and emotional scene.
-The "universe busting." At first it seemed pretty cool, but looking back at it it makes no damn sense. Why write something like this if it's never going to be used again? Maybe it will be in the future, but I doubt it.
-Music was at its worse here. You can tell they were experimenting with random video game synth shit before they decided not to use them again (except for the shittiest one).
Overall: This was a nice simple story arc from start to finish. It had its problems, but I still enjoyed it all the way. 70/100.
Resurrection F
Pros:
-Episodes 16-18. These are some of the best episodes in DBS so far. The comedy was fantastic and seeing Goku and Vegeta train together was great.
-The music felt better in this arc. Sumitomo shines when he makes darker, more orchestral themes.
-I like the Golden Freeza/SSGSS designs.
-Tagoma, but...
-Champa and Vados cameos.
-Vegeta's beatdown of Freeza and the explosion of Earth. They were both handled better than the movie version.
-Gohan wants to train again. Maybe.
Cons:
-The plot. Oh wait, what plot (other than eps 16-18)?
-Shitty army fight. I understand the bad production, but this was clearly the B team doing everything. The Z fighters vs army battle was nowhere near as engaging compared to the movie.
-Tagoma getting shafted. This was such a shit episode. Worst episode in DBS. Why build up something interesting and then throw it away the very next episode?
-Freeza didn't attack Trunks.
-Piccolo's death. I'm fine with him dying, but it didn't give off any emotion.
-Goku vs Freeza. Another terrible fight.
Overall: Pretty bad. Of all the "canon" arcs, this is the only one I actually consider to be bad. Started off very good, but died as soon as Freeza landed on Earth. It went out with a bang, but it was too late at that point. 40/100.
God of Destruction Champa
Pros:
-Champa and Vados are fantastic. At first I was skeptical, but they turned out great.
-Zuno is a great concept. I hope we see him again sometime.
-The tournament idea. I love Dragon Ball tournaments, and I loved this one too.
-Beards.
-I like the Universe 6 characters. They all have something unique about them. Hit and Magetta in particular were really enjoyable.
-The fights were consistently OK. This is a weird thing to praise, but for this series it is a godsend.
-Kaioken was sexy.
-Monaka MVP. What a way to end it. Classic Dragon Ball.
-Omni-King is the greatest little thing ever. The handshake made me laugh out loud right when the suspenseful music started playing.
-Super Shenlong was better looking than I ever expected.
-Music was fine.
Cons:
-Flashback episode. I understand what it was probably used for, but it's still bad.
-Uub was mentioned. There was no need for this.
-Botamo vs Goku was stiff and boring.
-No Bra explanation.
-Vegeta. As much as I like Vegeta, in hindsight he should not have gotten all that screen time. They should have let Piccolo beat Frost and then lose to Magetta.
-Super Shenlong clip show. Toei please.
Overall: This is a very solid arc and the best in DBS so far. Comedy was great, action was decent, plot was great, and the music was fine (except for that shit they keep playing from time to time). 85/100.
Super gets a 65/100 overall. I really don't like saying that as I enjoy Super, but the Resurrection F arc prevents it from getting a better grade.
Pros:

Re: Kanzenshuu Members Grade DB Super By Arcs!
Interesting idea.
Anyways here is my take on the arcs. I will not involve movies and stuff into it because I didn't watch the movies before super.
__________________________________________
Battle of Gods
Concept - A new threat, in form of a god of destruction, whose power knows no bounds - can only be stopped by super saiyan god, who is a mystical form of a saiyan which can be achieved ONLY by 6 pure-hearted saiyans and can last a few minutes only.
12.5/15
Execution - Goku finger flicked (lol) , vegeta's rage boost, beerus chopsticks establish him as a big threat. Buu's interference was great part in the plot - hilarious as well as annoying as hell. Super saiyan god ritual's importance was highlighted by influence of unborn pan.
12/15
Fitting into storyline - Beerus being the god of destruction to balance out kaioshins, the one who sealed old kaioshin, never sensed due to god ki was all cool but never explains why kaioshins let themselves killed rather than asking for whis or beerus to help them against kid buu. They could've used teleportation but they didn't do it?
Freeza had fought against beerus?
4/10
Art and animation - It was good for most part but some bad animation sticks out sorely.
16.5/20
Battle - Easily the best battle so far in super is beerus vs goku. However, other battles hold the points back
33/40
Overall - 78 / 100
________________________________________________________________-
Revival of freeza
Concept: The strongest being in the universe trains, becomes stronger than ever, so much that even SSG is helpless against him. He destroys earth - looks and sounds really cool , isn't it? However, what stops it from being perfect and flawless is that it is repeat of a movie.
14/15
Execution: So vegeta doesn't want to become super saiyan god and train on his own and surpass SSG goku, while he couldn't surpass SS3 goku? Seems legit. Oh wait, he did it , by training only - in 10 months seems legit. Oh also wait, freeza surpassed him in 4 months without a super-special training - seems legit.
Nevermind all of this - a no-named soldier weaker than Zarbon surpasses CELL just by getting punched in face for 4 months - seems totally legit. He tanks piccolo's punch, "plucks" his hand off, and all this for - getting body changed by ginyu and dying to vegeta? Seems 100% legit.
Now, we see gotenks and buu not even fighting first form freeza, while he is so far above everyone else that anyone can't even think of opposing him (while 4 months ago, piccolo could've flicked his head off in 100% form).
0.5/15 (being generous)
Fitting into storyline: So freeza's dad told him to stay away from majin buu and beerus, but he didn't know that freeza can surpass majin buu by 4 months training? Freeza knows how strong is majin buu? He knows exact time of his training? When he survived namek, he, rather than getting fully healthy and training, decides to come on earth with his dad (who is weaker than him)? He doesn't even pay attention to the namekian who stomped him on namek?
Vegeta surpasses the power goku flat-out said it was impossible to train and achieve? So did vegeta become better than goku at training?
ROSHI preferred over yamcha? Tien/Krillin or hell, even piccolo can't vaporise all 1000 soldiers in one blast? Krillin scared of fighting mooks with PL at best 10,000? Gohan one-shotted by a power level surpassing "even ginyu force"?

Universal tournament arc:
Concept: A new god of destruction - brother of beerus, wants to have a tournament - universe's 5 strongest fighters - in exchange of U7's earth (for food) and promises "wish orbs" a.k.a. super DB's he has been collecting for some reason. Bulma creates super DB radar, they go to Zuno - the being with a lot of knowledge.
5 fighters one-on-one fights with high stakes
13/15
Execution: Goku needs buu and piccolo, beerus wants monaka - the strongest U7 fighter. Piccolo has been training with gohan, while goku trains with vegeta. Buu fails the test WoW , goku fights botamo and ring outs him, loses to frost by getting poisoned. Frost looks like an interesting character, who is "faking" being good, but as soon as his poison is revealed , he suddenly reveals and announced being bad?
Piccolo nearly beats frost and forced into forfeit?
Oh wait, Piccolo was used as a plot device to bring goku back in fight.
Hit turns out to be an interesting character. The way hit and goku fight and change in hit's attitude with the look they give when champa calls them pawns - just perfect. The execution of super shenron's wish was just too good.
Omni king's introduction was also good.
13.5 / 15
Animation and art: Way better than first two. The only things holding it back are some inconsistent animation and cabba's design.
17.5/20

You can fit the x/10 ratings in the system by multiplying by 10 (7.5/10 = 75/100)LightBing wrote:Updated. Didn't count the last two since they don't fit the system.
Anyways here is my take on the arcs. I will not involve movies and stuff into it because I didn't watch the movies before super.

Re: Kanzenshuu Members Grade DB Super By Arcs!
BoG arc: 75/100 - Better than the movie in my opinion. Beerus vs Goku is still the best battle in Super.
ROF arc: 40/100 Terrible and boring story telling and horrible animation. Tagoma/Ginyu and SSB Vegeta were easily the best parts of RoF. Piccolo, Kuririn, Roshi, Tenshinhan and Gohan did terrible in the series compared to the movie.
U6 arc: 82/100 Some great fights ( Hit vs Goku, Vegeta vs Magetta, Piccolo vs Frost, this last one was interesting and refreshing as a tactical battle ). They introduced us some interesting new characters like Hit and Cabba. Last but not the least, Super Shelong was pretty epic.

Battle of Gods
It was alright, nothing too special, it gets a pass from me because i love the movie. It certainly dragged it out in certain parts, but also added some cool bits and Goku vs Beerus fight is awesome and better than the movie.
70/100
Revival of F
Really, really good slice of life episodes, but once the fighting starts it all goes to shit. It also didnt expand nothing from the movie and that movie needed a lot of expanding. Animation in Goku vs Freeza is just embarrassing.
40/100
Champa
Cute little arc, nothing spectacular or anything and feels like introduction of future things. Awesome new lore and expansion, tournament is ok-ish, it took some time to get good. Super probably cant do better that this...
90/100 (in Super rankings, if it was for the whole franchise, the score would be MUCH lower)

Re: Kanzenshuu Members Grade DB Super By Arcs!
Updated.
The numbers have lowered since the last update, not by much. The RoF is the one with more extreme opinions.
It really serves no purpose to the story, besides SSJB which isn't even built as a plot point, but as a surprise. I hope we someday get information about how Super came to be.
Spoiler:
I agree with you, it really feels out of place. I have to wonder if Mr.Toriyama, when asked about Super decided to include RoF in it. Or did he just go along with the flow and since the movie introduced SSJB, there was no need to add/change anything.Super Saiyan Swagger wrote:What also really annoys me is that in the long run this arc will stick out like a sore thumb due to it being so out of place in the overall plot of Super.

Battle of Gods arc - 80/100
One the whole I found this arc very enjoyable. While it is a rehashing of its movie counter part it wasn't a step by step retelling and the changes they made kept me interested. I knocked of points only because its a retelling and because of episode of episode 5, the only time I have ever really been upset about the animation.
Resurrection of F arc - 50/100
This hurts to say as a Frieza fan but this arc was not great, it for the most part fell short of its movie counterpart and its clear that near the end they were just trying to rush through it to get to the Champa arc. Unlike the BoG's arc the changes made to the story here are for the most part pointless and give us nothing new. That being said the slice of life moments are really good and the scenes added to the destruction of earth give that moment a bit more gravity to the situation. One of the better parts of this arc was Tagoma, my biggest complaint about the RoF movie was that none of Frieza's solders were that strong besides Shisami, who was cool but beaten way to quickly. Tagoma's character development was also very interesting. However the single best part of this arc for me was Captain Ginyu coming back for one final cameo. The biggest sin of this arc however was rushing through Frieza's fight with Goku.
Champa arc - 100/100
Do I really need to say anything here. New story, new characters, awesome fights, world building and a shiny new dragon to boot.

Battle of Gods arc
I was a fan of the movie and I felt this arc added some cool parts in what I considered a lackluster Gokuu and Beerus fight. However some parts dragged on like the Oolong and Beerus thing and some poor animation prevents this arc from being great. 65/100

Re: Kanzenshuu Members Grade DB Super By Arcs!
God and God Arc: Decent adaptation of the orginal movie, still I find the movie much better structured and paced that its DBSuper counterpart. The animation ranged from OK to Lackluster. Score: 6.5/10
Ressurection ´F Arc: This adaptation was less graceful that the previous arc, there was just so much padding, wasted characters (Piccolo, Tagoma, Ginyu, etc), even worse, doesn´t try to fix some of the Orginal Movie problems. Score: 4.5/10
Champa Arc: The best Arc of DBSuper thus far, best world building since the Freeza Arc. It´s the arc with the most consistent animation of the 3 arcs (Still some lackluster here and there), interesting character development for Vegeta. Score: 8.25/10

Dragon Ball was always a kid series and fans should stop being in denial.
