Who would you choose for your team in a tournament?

Hmm, i would have my team like this:

1. Tapion - Just because he's cool dose mean he's skilled as a Legendary Swordsman.

2. Piccolo - He will be useful as he's a supporter on the offensive sidelines, the hellzone grenade is used as a last resort.

3. Hit - I am picking Hit because he's SO cool looking! Plus he's evenly matched between Goku. Works for Hit as a Offensive-Defensive sideline.

4. Vegeta (GT) - Why did i picked Vegeta from GT? He's cool without his mustache, he can be effective as HFIL would do, and can be amazingly be awesome at so many ways.

5. Majuub (GT) - Now we're getting into the good stuff. He's amazingly effective, but not as effective but to be more balanced. The good part that his kamehameha attack can turn into any foodstuff, effectively making him vital of success. The drawback is that he's weaker than GT Vegeta sadly. But he'll be a good sidekick.


It's balanced in a such away it could be possible to win the tag team tournament.

1. Hitiro - he can talk his opponents to death by getting himself in quoting chains.
2. Darkprince - he's persistent and never changing, even if the odds are against him.
3. Apex_pretador - he gets technical a bit too often, and spreads the details quite fast.
4. SSJ God Gogeta - he would get to make avatars of the characters through selfies now.
5. Kaboom - he can't be sensed. Apparently his power is so high that it's beyond our reading.

Buu is OP, pls nerf. Hit makes the cut due to his time stop ability, tendency to level up massively in combat, and experience. Whis gets in due to his time manipulation & agreeable personality.

Rildo he can turn anyone to metal and merge with the stadium if he has to.
Bebi he can controll their bodies and even possess anyone that he wants.
Whis who can turn back time and is the best healer, who can even revive the dead. Whis is great at using UI.
Omega Shenron he has all the powers of the Shadow Dragons and can regenerate.

At that point I wouldn't even care about the tournament anymore, I would just go to the locker room with them and throw away the key.

Kale: I want to see how she learns to work with those other than Caulifla.

Cauflia: She needs to be around so that Kale can bounce off of her, of course, but also because she can continue her conquest of the Super Saiyan forms and also learn new lessons about herself and fuse into Kefla, of course.

Jiren: my precious babygirl! I want to see how he's changed since the Tournament of Power.

Freeza: I wonder what his view on power is, now? After everything that's happened, where is Freeza as a character after the Granola arc?

Son Gohan: I want Tomioka Atsuhiro to write him again. He actually made Gohan likable, so I'd like to see Gohan continue off from the Tournament of Power (but with his new Beast form, too).

3. Mob Rabbit (paired with Yard Rats - Teleporting and Turning people into Carrots)
4. Oolong (will pretend to be Jiren to scare people or pretend to be team mates)
5. The Flying Nimbus (goes to the highest part of the arena and camps there)

Is the goal to win? Then with even strength you're just looking for skill, ingenuity, and major hax, right?

Baby is tempting but overlaps pretty heavily with Boo. Botamo is also tempting; I suppose it would depend on whether there are ring outs. Either way, for sheer defence, I think Hirudegarn might be the superior pick, while also offering offense and size (though that could be a negative too). Could pick either over Goku, I suppose, but it's hard go give away the guy who tends to find a way out of anything. The first three Tenkaichi Budokai alone speak to his adaptability with stronger/more skilled opponents, and UI still works here, right?

Fused Zamasu is also a strong contender, but like Baby I wonder if he's just offering similar stuff to Boo.

Have to remove angels or the list would probably just be five of them.

I like the rivalries in the series, and I think having a team roster comprised of people trying to outdo each other would add an additional layer of 'stakes' to each fight, and invite fun banter and character dynamics. I like to imagine them all having to train together, and really get to know each other, in preparation for the tournament. Goku is at the center of these rivalries, and as Cipher pointed out he's probably the best at squeaking out wins despite tremendous disadvantages. So:

- Goku
- Tenshinhan
- Piccolo
- Vegeta
- Freeza

Buncha dudes who have very good reason to hate each others' guts. Yet, they'd also need to root for each other, at least a bit. Beyond Goku's tenacity, Ten's got all sorts of weird moves, Piccolo's got regeneration and also weird moves, and Freeza is durable as hell. Vegeta doesn't bring anything mechanically unique to the team, but the rapport he'd have to build with Tenshinhan and Freeza would be fun. Yeah it's not the most OP team, but if you just wanted an OP team you'd probably just got with 5 random angels, like Cipher also said.
