I've played a lot of these Dragon Ball games and I still think Legacy of Goku 2 was the best one.

They put out a game based on The Legend of Korra awhile back that I grabbed for $5 last year. I never got around to playing it, but I was surprised to see their name on it! I also thought they were long gone. Seems most of what they put out anymore are very low key mobile games with what I assume is their mascot frog.
I've never heard of Legend of Korra so maybe that's why I didn't realize.

I was a fan of Webfoot in the shareware days (I played Deadly Rooms of Death and their Snake clone Wrigglers) and was excited when I found out they were doing Legacy of Goku... then after Transformations I'd never heard about them again.
Battle High 2, starring Kyle Hebert as well as myself, has been released on Xbox 360, OUYA, PC, Linux, Mac, and Xbox One!

Yeah I thought it was even better than Buu's Fury. There were less moments in LOG2 where you had to grind for levels and it was also a more challenging experience since you couldn't corner bad guys to a wall and punch them to death. I also noticed a lot more glitches in Buu's Fury so in that sense, LOG2 felt more polished as well.

Although, both games were better than LOG1. Dear god that one was bad. I wish we could've had a remake of that one.

I agree the only reason I like Buu's fury over LoG2 is the fact that they you know...actually let you play as Goku.

I liked LoG2 better as well....at least until the postgame. Buu's Fury had collectables, it was much easier to grind, and the unlockable character (Gogeta) was arguably more fun to play as than the unlockable character in LoG2.

The collectables in LoG2 were...okay, I guess, and grinding for the level 50 gates was soooooooo boring. Cooler as a superboss was fun, but that's really it. Mr. Satan is my favorite character to play as, though.

Also, I liked the tweaks they made to fighting in Buu's Fury. It is entirely possible to pinball every single enemy in LoG2, and beat the game at the bare minimum level with ease (for Gohan, that's 25, I believe.) Buu's Fury is a bit more unforgiving in terms of blindly being able to beat bosses up with no effort, although neither of the games come close to the difficulty of the original (without cheats/glitches, anyway.)

I agree being able to fight Cooler was fun, although something about the way they handled it always bugged me. I mean he comes all the way to earth just to issue a challenge, then goes to New Namek for no apparent reason and does nothing but hide in a cave for 3 years while the Namekians continue living in peace. Like how the hell is he that patient? It's even funnier when you consider you have the option to not even use Goku against him so his 3 years of waiting is for nothing.

I got really excited when I saw this on Facebook. I'd love another Legacy of Goku game! Definitely one of my favorites of the DBZ games. If we're able to get to a Kickstarter, I'm backing the crap out of it!

I wish they would make one, I've just completed Buu's fury today
Someone hit me up when Krillin, Tien, Yamcha, Chiaotzu :lolno:, Goten, Buu, and Gohan :!: :!: :!: become relevant again :?

I'm curious as to what part of the series Webfoot's planning on covering. There could be enough material in Super to do something, or maybe they'll start back in the Z era. It'd be great if they could redo the Saiyan and Freeza arcs with a game that's actually made well.

If this really happens I will buy it immediately, I was and still am a huge fan of LoG games.
I think they first should remake all of DBZ and then focus on DBS.

That sounds like a great way to end your professional career.
