From what I can see in the pictures I think they'll get the Future Trunks TV Special we already know on the Youtube channel dedicated to the Toei 60th anniversary. That or broadcast on TV.
Interesting, someone did say the last two movies were announced on a Tuesday and I know this a movie but it has been announced on a Tuesday again around the same time of year.
I suppose we won't be having a movie next year then but this is better than nothing.
I'm ok with not having a new movie right now. The animation seems to be stabilizing and improving in Super and I feel a new movie would set that back to a more rushed looking state.
Those scans link to Toei's 60 th anniversary YouTube site, where a single episode from a lot of their shows can be viewed(only in Japan though).
It also has the Trunks speciale among its lineup: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=3VMFin9st0g

We had concerns over the text alignment in the supposed photo and don't go out of our way to provide information on things we cannot 100% independently confirm for ourselves.

I think it refers to broadcast the Future Trunks TV special that we know (and Fukkatsu no F film) maybe on TV on August 27 at 9 pm. Only this. From what we can see, that doesn't says anything about a new special or new animation. And show us the direction to Youtube channel dedicated to the Toei 60th anniversary, because there we (Japanese people really) can also see this old Future Trunks TV Special and other animations.

I wonder if "F" movie will have an extended cut like BoG which I believe made its debut on TV too.
Does it say "new" anywhere in that text? I'm guessing they are just going to air the Future Trunks special for younger fans who are new to the series to give them a better understanding of what's going on in Super right now, and there might be some new animation at the end explaining what happened in Future Trunks timeline up until the arrival of Black.
If this is legit, I hope the special for Future Trunks focuses more on the events of how he became a SSJ2.

I still haven’t lived down going, “Who the heck is Tao Pai-pai?” that one time I was talking with Ei’ichiro Oda-kun. But the fact that there are still people reading the series after all this time… All I can say is; “thank you.” Really, that’s all.

And that you also have IMMENSELY skewed and comically backwards priorities in what you think is most important and needed to make a good Dragon Ball story.

Why would an episode air on 27th in the first place?
I think a better way to have said that is that Resurrection "F" and the "Future" Trunks Special, whatever it is, are airing on the 27th, which is a Saturday. Super itself airs on Sundays, so there is no overlap in terms of dates.
