Who would be the most competent protector of Earth?

Are we counting Super characters/character development.

If not I'd still go for Goku. People take that quote by Toriyama about him fighting for himself too literal IMO and Goku has shown conern for Earth many times.

Goku is the only one who no matter the circumstance seems to come out on top. Even if its Piccolo or anyone else they will just run to get Goku anyway.

Now if we are going my personality only and the powerup can be infinite....Mr. Satan! He'd actually be good at protecting Earth if he was actually powerful.

If that's not acceptable I'd say Chi-Chi. Shed scare anyone away even with just SSJ1 power.

I dont disagree...but what decisions have we really seen made from the guardian of Earth? It seems to be a job where you chill when its peaceful and then run to find Goku when bad things happen.
