I can explain that. It's because it depends on how good the dub and/or sub is. If the dub's horrible, we run to sub, and if some fans are sick of subs, they give dubs a chance, as dubs in general can be a hit or miss. Since many fans consider the Funimation dub for DBZ to be vastly superior to the original Japanese, it's like that.Hellspawn28 wrote:I'm glad that Funimation does things more closer to the Japanese version now. I remember for years, fans wanted DBZ in English to be more closer to the Japanese version. We finally got it in 2010 with Kai, you had people that was like "I want the old version of DBZ back!". I don't get why some people are okay with DBZ getting changes done for the US release but hate it when other Japanese franchises would get a similar treatment?
Realistically speaking, will Faulconer be brought back?

This is kind of a generalization. It depends entirely on the person. Thing is, there are fans who will go around blindly hating every dub that gets made, regardless of how accurate or not it is. Naruto's a perfect example of this. For all intents and purposes, it does everything right, just like the DBZ Kai dub does. That being said, considering that dubs are still doing well, I'd say they're pretty much a vocal minority, though.EXBadguy wrote:I can explain that. And regarding the topic, I agree that there's definitely no likelihood of Faulconer coming back, nor is there of any other composer being used. The only music that might get changed would be the opening and ending themes, if Toei decides to impose English versions internationally as with the last two Z Movies.

Oh, you mean the sub supremacists and the super weaboos? Yeah, I know that. Anime elitists some of the worst types of elitism around(along with music elitists). And you're right, everyone's different, but I think it still depends on the dub and/or sub and the reception either of them gets.Valerius Dover wrote:This is kind of a generalization.
