You forgot to mention the fact that Black body is Goku one.
So, the stronger past Goku became each time, the stronger is Black.
It double in strenght each time they clash. The more Black damage Goku, the stronger he get... Very interesting.

I used to think that, but then Beerus killed Zamasu in main Goku's timeline, so the Goku possessed by Zamasu is completely different.

I think he main thing that's ticking off people is that Black seems to imply it's from being a saiyan and having Gokus body so theoretically the audience the would expect Goku and Vegeta to have the same ability but theirs seems to be lacking. The audience is left to assume that there's something special about Zamasu being in Gokus body but nothing ever indicates that other than the ability just happening.

I think the next episode is going to explain more of the reasoning behind Black's OP Zenkai and his SSJR form. As stated in the spoilers and the episode title "Don't Defile Saiyan Cells", Black is referred to as a "fake Saiyan". Which is true considering Black's SSJ form is pink instead of gold and how he conveniently grows more powerful when he feels pain, something that is quite different from Zenkais.

It is strange how Zamasu is using Goku's body better than even Goku himself, lol. While Hit is an entirely different case altogether, I just think Zamasu in Goku's body is just the perfect union of having the mind, soul and spirit of a God (not just godly ki) and the body of a Saiyan. Perhaps Goku or Vegeta could gain this ability from mastering godly ki more?
