All the Hate

I like Super too. And want it to succeed in every possible way. But come on.. This episode was just badly written to say the least. Nothing in it made any sense at all. There isn't really any way to justify these inconsistencies, because that's what they are.. Plain old consistensies. I'm a very big DB Super fan. But you've got to be realistic here. A lot of things don't add up, even back in the day with the whole Base power inconsistencies and the U6 fighters fighting on par with Gods and even freaking Piccolo managing something against an opponent that gave SSJ Post Goku a hard time. It's just an inconsistency, there's no other way to look at it.
And then there's this whole "2 base theory."

That said, yes. I like Super. It has great concepts and ideas, but are often very poorly executed. Powerscaling for starters.

Hate and criticism are not the same thing. Lots of people have critiqued the latest episode. It did a lot wrong, so that's the natural outcome.

And lots of people have hated the episode to the point that some believe that it's the worst arc (or close to worst) in the franchise

How do you define "hate"? I have a funny feeling that it's dead wrong.

Don't make me think about what a certain feeling is, because i know that i could ended up thinking about it over months.

It's all different strokes. Whether or not people love or hate something is completely up the viewer. There's nothing wrong with criticism, all as it's constructive. I've seen a lot of people vent anger at the episode for stuff like Vegetto not being around for long enough and the whole Future Trunks Genki Dama scenario, but at the same time, I've seen people love the episode primarily because of that.

I was merely pointing out the comments from youtube videos and twitter. Although the reviewers seem to love episode 66. The only real criticism I saw was from swagkage on YouTube.
