Would Super had been better if Toyo created a manga and Toei adapted it

I don't mind the side by side aspect. Both the manga and anime use the same source material Toriyama gives them, and I like to see the individuality at work. I don't want to see neither adapt to the other. I believe the biggest problem with the anime is the rushed feeling it gives us. It seems like they are spewing out DB content just to please the fans who are thirsty for action. Yeah, it's cool Trunks gain a new form, but can we get some explanation as to how he got so powerful? Yeah it's cool to see Trunks working the Spirit Bomb in his own way, but can we get more reasoning other than convenience? (By the way, with Trunks demigod form, I would have rather that design be his SSJ2 form when he was fighting with Goku minus the blue light. I felt when he went SSJ2 while fight Goku, all they did was added the blue lightning around his original super saiyan form. I would like a little more distinction than that between forms)
