Well, to burst the teenage bubble of wondering if a character in my favorite show is by any chance gay...
Zamasu is a god/Kaioshin, we know that Kaioshin are asexual genderless higher beings, so if I can steep so low to get in in-universe explanation:
Humans have gender, each gender has it's perequisities based on hormones + the culture and upbringing they develop in as characters.

So no, Zamasu can't be gay. But Goku and Vegeta + every other character can. Maybe Bulma's sister is, or Goku will find out later and find himself someone, who loves fighting and so can be closer with than with Chi-Chi.
But due to the Japanese society being still kinda homophobic compared to west, I think not. But well, Japanese society kinda moved on since DB and DBZ's gay jokes.

Btw. my favorite gay character is Kathy Kane/Batwoman.

Kaio-shin tend to be asexual. However, Old Kai is probably the exception. He probably got his lust for women from the old witch that fused with him. That old witch is a lesbian, and might be the only one in Dragon Ball.

On a serious note, I would like to see a serious gay character or couple. Not one stereotyped, but depicted in a normal fashion... that then gets comedic reactions from the other characters. I highly doubt it, though.
