Vegetto in the Z anime almost overstays his welcome because of padding, but that's the same with a lot of things in the anime.
It's definitely true that people seem to really like the short and sweet beatdowns. And with Gogeta and Vegetto, their such brief appearances almost sends the idea that a Goku/Vegeta fusion is just too awesome to exist for an extended period of time.
People will probably complain for years about the changing of the Potara fusion rules and how quickly he was taken out of the picture, but at least we won't be hearing how "Vegetto was cool, but he lasted way too long and got boring. I don't want to see him again."
Does anyone think Vegito/Gogeta having so little screentime is a good thing?

I could have gotten into anything...and yet I chose the story aimed at young Japanese boys about martial arts, and later about super-powerful aliens punching each other really hard.
