It's safe to say it'll reach 100 so currently I'm looking forward to it reaching 154 cause that'll put it ahead of the original DB.
What does this even mean ?

It means he hates the original Dragonball as there is no Vegeta in it.
The show is going to go on for a very long time
Toriyama should be at least half way done with the arc after the next by now.

It means I'll wait for it to surpass the original before surpassing the 1st part of its longer sequel and no, I don't hate the original DB but it would've benefited from having Vegeta in its story.

July 9th 2018 will be remembered as the day Broly became canon.

Really? 291 + 153 Dragonball/Z episodes is nothing. I marathoned the whole thing in about 6-7 months.

I just finished Dragon Ball, and I've been a fan since 5th grade. I just find it boring and don't have the time on my hands:

I hope it does, as long as it keeps on making money, and Toriyama keeps on writing.

Fuji TV finally got a show that is proving to be beneficial for them cause Toriko wasn't able to do much good. Namco-Bandai is making a crap ton of money through toy sales, video games et cetera. Shueisha is also making money in their own ways.
Even if Toriyama quits, I don't think they will stop. As much as fans don't like to accept it, Dragon Ball is a series appealing to the lowest common denominator. Only an idiot would stop the show that is making huge profits.
I'd say it will go on as long as merchandise sales are good. And I don't see sales dropping anytime soon, so I think it should reach the 200 mark comfortably. Even, if they end Super at the 100-150 mark for some reason they can very well come up with Super 2 after a short break.
Now ... see ... that is what I
don't want to happen.
Super needs to end at some point before 200 episodes because I don't want a
Super 2. I don't want powerscaling to get even more complex than it already is. I want Toei to put some effort in the next arc to explain god ki clearly. I don't want there to be a Super Saiyan 6 or a Super Saiyan Green-Black, which may occur if this show goes for that long.
There's also a chance of a crap ton of spin-offs with a different cast in the Dragon Ball world.

I want it to last forever, but eventually every good thing must come to an end, sadly.

I feel they are not able to execute it correctly, and thus someone suggested to let Toyotaro give them info now, if it gets better it's all well and good, toriyama will surely give it his all as this could very well be the last Dragonball series he writes..
Toriyama has had gripes with toie and their animation handling, so much so that he was not willing to write anymore..
It seems he like Toyotaro and his work though..
I have a hunch letting the manga go ahead is to please toriyama and give him maximum quality
Of course I could be very wrong about it all in which case someone please correct me
You just over exaggerated here. He had a problem yes but we don't know what but it has now since been resolved since he's written the Black arc and the next arc.
Toei is made of multiple people where as Toyo is one person besides he only works closely with Toyo on the gag stuff. Also the Manga has skipped ahead before so it's nothing to do with that the Manga is meant as promotion for the anime.

It's a question you can't really answer right now. I personally feel Toriyama Sensei/Toei are likely taking it one Arc at a time, and if this is the case, I think it will at least last another year or so seeing as how well the merchandise is selling.
If Toriyama Sensei decides he's had enough.... then I really don't know if Toei would continue without him.
Yes, they have the Dragon Ball room, but would they take the risk of putting out another/continue a show without him?.
I think 200+ is possible, and actually, I hope it surpasses the 291 of Z (providing Toriyama Sensei remains involved) and remains as good as the last 2 Arcs have been.

To answer the question, it depends if merchandise sells or not. Money talks.
