Goten, trunks, pan, uub are as interesting as farmer with a shotgun to majority of fanbase including me.
It's a good thing toriyama seems to not give them too much attention.
Having everyone old and piccolo saying he is too old to fight as an ending bugs me a lot, eoz should be changed
Piccolo is actually young for a namekian.
Yes, and yet eoz makes him say he is too old, or was that a mistranslation I saw
Dragon Ball Super will only end when it stops making Bandai millions upon millions of dollars. Of course from an in-universe perspective, the possibility of several other universe being destroyed greatly ruins any kind of possibility for villains to invade the main cast's universe and provide intriguing twist to the structure of the narrative, much like the Future Trunks arc. But the universe that the cast are in is still pretty damn big to compensate for that and provide many more adversaries for Goku and the gang to tackle.

Akira Toriyama wrote:My policy is to try and forget things once they’re over. Since if I don’t discard the old and focus on what’s new, I’ll overload my brain capacity. I still haven’t lived down going, “Who the heck is Tao Pai-pai?” that one time I was talking with Ei’ichiro Oda-kun. But the fact that there are still people reading the series after all this time… All I can say is; “thank you.” Really, that’s all.

And that you also have IMMENSELY skewed and comically backwards priorities in what you think is most important and needed to make a good Dragon Ball story.

I think Super will end when Toriyama is out of ideas. They don't have to announce anything for a final arc. GT never announce that the Shadow Dragon arc would be the final story in the show. There was a lot of buzz when GT ended in 1997 because I was told that no one thought the show would end and people thought the series was finally over for good.
