Will Dragonball Super get a dark and gritty arc?

We just had an arc that made human beings look at themselves in the mirror and ask...Is Zamasu right?!!

Goku Black killing Chi Chi and Goten was pretty dark, it did took me by surprise when it happen. Do people want sex and rape scenes in Dragon Ball to be edgy? We still had stabbing moments in Super with Goku Black and Zamasu. The show is the most violent you are going to get out of a Sunday morning anime.

We already went into the "dark" and "gritty" areas with the Future Trunks arc. The only arc that comes close to how mature that arc was was the Freeza arc, in my opinion.

Super needs more grittier darker fights. I've been watching the Namek/Frieza saga over again for the past few days and it really does remind of how much I dislike Super.

I mean, people were getting killed left and right. Holes were getting punched into people. People were getting blasted to death. Gohan got his neck broken by Recoome. Vegeta was catching bodies.

I watched the Gohan vs Cell fight earlier and that shit was awesome. He did them Cell Jr's dirty. Chopped a few heads off, kicked that one into pieces, and was punching mofos into blue clouds of dust.

I could go on.

Super has had what?

We got characters got blast through characters in Super too when Zamasu and Goku Black stab through Goku's body. Sure there was no blood, but it was still violent. We also saw blood when those Dinosaur aliens from U10 beating up each other. Dragon Ball needs to be on the same level as Ninja Scroll or Blood C to have violent moments.
