Db and dbz had the advantage of telling "Goku's story as he grows up".
With this story done we can finally see "Goku living the rest of his life as an adult". Super can literally do anything and change everything. It can even pull a GT and turn Goku to a kid (no please God nooo).

Bottom line Super has a lot of potential and Zamasu arc was the proof. Bring a great character back, have an awesome villain, and a sad ending.
The only thing Super lacks is consistency in the animation department, which angers most of the fans

After thinking, Super is really unique. Maybe not the best part of the DB story but I have to give it credit. Goku Black was one of the hugest shocks I've had in my days watching DB/Z/GT/Super. That arc had my mind pacing in quite a few directions.

I still respect Dragon Ball and Z in many ways, but I gotta admit the story line in most of the original Dragon Ball practically was implied as I watched each episode (yes, even the first time watching it). Namek/Frieza sagas in Z was great story writing, and Cell gave me a shock as others would say.

Super is also unique in a way that even in extremely predictable arcs, they deliver well. Personally one of my favorite arcs is the intergalactic tournament arc. Goku vs. Hit is something I will be rewatching for quite some time.

I really can't see what's different about it, other then the excessive comedy. Also, it looks as though some of the characters regressed in characterization, although it does seem like since Toriyama isn't righting at the seat of his pants anymore. The storytelling ( how ever contrived it may be ) seems like it was planned out, I even see some examples of foreshadowing, that I stopped seeing after the Frieza saga.

Vegito fanboys still salty over FT being prominent in the "future trunks" arc need to dry their eyes and get over it. Vegito is barely even a character, just fanservice to sell toys. I bet they didn't even realise that this whole arc was built around FT. It's really getting sad at this point
I'm not being salty or anything, nor am I crying for a fictional character that barely had any screen time in the whole franchise, I'm simply saying what I find bad in the arc, theres no such thing as a perfect arc, there will always be a bad side to it for each person, or are you telling me you have absolutely no problem with the arc and its perfect for you? if so then youre pretty easy to please.
