Never
He lost interest in being a martial artist and made it clear to goku he dosen't want to be one anyway, wouldn't even consider training if her wife and child weren't pressuring him emotionally..
That's a shameful way for Krillin to think who has been a monk from birth, getting elder kai to unlock his potential when he dosen't feel like doing shit is a disgrace..
Let him die, he got no business participating if he dosen't feel the need to himself

This actually greatly annoys me. Krillin's been probably my favorite character for the longest time, and him just GIVING UP is soooooooooo fucking out of character.

After watching tonight's episode I'm disappointed he's in the tournament. I hope he does die. What a cry baby. Not worthy of representing earth.

Then you have no idea what Krillin's character is about.

Did you just stop in the middle or did you see it through to the end where he got his act together, overcame his fears and came out more determined and focused than before?
The ability to overcome your fear, adapt and better yourself is the very definition of what I want representing Earth.

Of course I did,but I'll admit, I'm biased against his character. It just never appealed to me. Not one saga where I liked krillin. So yeah, my comment stills stand. He'll never be one of my fav characters.

Personally I liked how Krillin ended up in the last episode very much, but I still think the need to go through this character arc to begin with was out of character.

On this I fully agree with. He had already cut his hair and was ready to go and fight in the ROF arc, to have him take a downgrade and need to get his spirits back didn't feel right to me.
This was someone who was going to kill Vegeta with a sword, who had his potential unlocked on Namek and who risked his life for a girl who was going to kill him. I hope he does something great in the Tournament, whether he survives it or not (preferably he makes it IMO).
