I personally think the Dr Robotnik of Dragonball (Toppo) will beat Goku down next week. Goku already beat Bergamo and I think the reason they slotted Toppo in right after is to showcase how strong the new guy is which is typical Dragonball.Cipher wrote:I can see either a win or loss against Toppo next week benefitting the general thrust of the arc. Goku losing means the crisis of potential erasure really comes home for the Universe 7 team, even though it should already be there.

Goku wasn't serious when he fought Bergamo.. Plenty of power to spare. The fact that you say him winning would showcase "typical" dragon ball is exactly why he won't lose. Toriyama seems to do the opposite of what you're expecting.

Not true. I've gotten a lot of crap these last 12 hours for saying Goku will spank him.
I've already explained myself to you before so I won't do it again. I'll just hit you up in two weeks and we will see

Goku vs Toppo will end without a winner (not a tie)

A Kao Ken while in his blue haired god form isn't serious? I'm sure he was at around 60 to 70 percent of his full power by doing that.dragonballgeek wrote:omaro34 wrote:I personally think the Dr Robotnik of Dragonball (Toppo) will beat Goku down next week. This would explain the OP considering the Toppo is the leader yet is hardly in it and it is all Paul.Cipher wrote:I can see either a win or loss against Toppo next week benefitting the general thrust of the arc. Re: I See Death Flags for Toppo
how do you not see that Goku was In control of the match the entire time? He literally gave this guy as much power as he could just to be entertained. And even then he topped it. You even say it yourself. Only giving it 60 to 70 percent. Last time I checked that wasn't getting serious.omaro34 wrote:A Kao Ken while in his blue haired god form isn't serious? To further put this conversation in the coffin, Goku kept taunting him. Essentially asking him if he's capable of taking in anymore power. Smiling every step of the way.

Ditto, bald alien dude is probably stronger than his leader so he leaves Goku to him instead.Baggie_Saiyan wrote:This would explain the OP considering the Toppo is the leader yet is hardly in it and it is all Paul.Cipher wrote:I can see either a win or loss against Toppo next week benefitting the general thrust of the arc. I would go for Toppo getting rekt, making Goku look more dangerous to the others, him losing will be like "yeah we got nothin to worry about anymore, Toppo can handle Goku" they need to put a lot more danger vibes to Goku for this to work.

Does that mean Goku is near GoD level by now? If he can go toe-to-toe with another potential GoD?
Re: I See Death Flags for Toppo
So I guess Toei messed up yet again and thought Toppo was the bald alien guy hahahaha. Toriyama called later and told them his plan was for the dumb looking mustache guy to be the strong one. Can't blame Toei for assuming the cool one was the main guy.

We have absolutely no confirmation of this, and it has near zero chances of happeningjulianix wrote:So I guess Toei messed up yet again and thought Toppo was the bald alien guy hahahaha. Re: I See Death Flags for Toppo
Why did they animate him as the hooded guy 1st then change it later to fit toppos physique? I am absolutely hoping it wasn't a mistake and the bald alien guy is the main guy. But it's not like Toei and Toriyama have been on the same page recently. I mean just blatant dumb mistakes on their behalf. I wouldn't doubt they animated the wrong guy in the opening.Ki Breaker wrote:We have absolutely no confirmation of this, and it has near zero chances of happeningjulianix wrote:So I guess Toei messed up yet again and thought Toppo was the bald alien guy hahahaha. They have the whole story with characters, it must have been an error in making the hooded guy that's all..julianix wrote:Why did they animate him as the hooded guy 1st then change it later to fit toppos physique? It's all speculation at this point, it's highly unlikely for it to happen..
Although I agree with the dumb mistakes on their part, they haven't been too good in that lately

Re: I See Death Flags for Toppo
That doesn't make any sense considering the bald dude is still all over opening.julianix wrote:So I guess Toei messed up yet again and thought Toppo was the bald alien guy hahahaha. Re: I See Death Flags for Toppo
You gotta read around there's rumors everywhere Toei and Toriyama weren't on the same page with the characters. I hope they didn't but they messed up on basic stuff already I wouldn't put it past them to animate the intro thinking the bald guy was Toppo.Big Black Saiyan wrote:That doesn't make any sense considering the bald dude is still all over opening.julianix wrote:So I guess Toei messed up yet again and thought Toppo was the bald alien guy hahahaha.
