So, how long do you think this tournament arc will take?

I thought about it recently, and I think that maybe the tournament will last 7 episodes, with 6 minutes of the tournament time passing each episode. Maybe they will continue the trend of having the narrator state how much time has passed at the end of every episode.

People are paying way too much attention to the 48 mintues thing.

Did you know the entire Buu saga too place in around two days at most? and was the longest arc in db?

The entire Marinefold Arc of One Piece to place within like a hour and if we just count the time since the White Beard Pirates got there and count when it ended when Shanks said it was over.

Exactly you not going to have the biggest arc in super last only 5-6 episodes especially with a new Opening.

As of now they've spent 13 episodes (77-89) on character build up so I doubt the actual event will be anything less than that.

I mean if TOEI could milk those "5 minutes" of Goku and Freeza's fight like they did I don't think 48 hours will be such a big deal, although I'd like them to stick with 5-7 episodes and get the best animators to do those episodes. Quality over quantity always.
