How do you think Vegeta will go out?

Something like the Buu saga. He'll get ragdolled by Jiren while Goku charges up some macguffin. I'd like him to win but I think there are better odds of a diamond meteor landing on my house.

Throwing a temper tantrum while mumbling about surpassing carrots and crossing his arms and going "HMPH, THIS MEANS NOTHING KAKACARROTCAKE, VEGETA-SAMA IS STILL #1".

If Vegeta's characterization was actually done right this arc though? He'd acknowledge his defeat and put all of his hope in Goku, claiming he's the last hope for their universe, something akin to the Buu speech.

Hopefully Toppo beats him.

Vegeta has always knocked off plenty of characters. Toppo is a significant character who has yet to knock off anybody.

I have a feeling that in a few episodes time Jiren is going to go on the offensive against U7, regardless of if they're worth his time. This is when I'll think we'll see the likes of Android 17, Piccolo, and Gohan go. I think we're gonna see Veget and Frieza try to hold off Jiren while Goku tries tapping into the power of UI before tapping into it's full power and eliminating Jiren

Him boasting and losing is possible, but I doubt they will make it look too bad. Even this little stunt with Katopesla wasn't as hilarious as some made it out to be since he was obviously not taking any real damage, and all it did was serve to show that he is a bruiser through and through. It wasn't intended to make him the butt of a joke, but reinforce his status, and style that is different from Goku's, for better or worse.

That scene with Vegeta is exactly why I don't really like watching him fight as he only fights that one way.

Him winning would be cool, but I not only don't see him winning, I also want Jiren, Freeza, or 17 to win over him and really anyone else in this tournament. If he gets eliminated, it'll probably be to Jiren.

So everybody seems sure than Vegeta will be defeated by Toppo or Jiren, humiliated.
If Vegeta win's the TOP or if he unlock UI and have a decent fight against Jiren we can now agree that it will be totally unexpected.

So why i'm pretty sure that if Vegeta accomplish an incredible thing in TOP the same guys will say DBSUPER is bullshit because it was totally expected....

Vegeta's role in this series is to be second (or third) best next to Goku (and Gohan).
I would be very surprised if Vegeta would turn out to be the man of the tournament because he's never been allowed by the writers to win an actual crucial battle.
At the same time he still doesn't have the right mindset to win and is arrogant and petulant like he always is in battle, he shows no mental progress at all.

Don't get me wrong though, I want Vegeta to win this tournament if only for the sake of diversity in this Gokuized tournament.
