Best and Worst outfits of the characters

[Chuquita]

Goku - I love his cold weather dougi from DBH. It's so flowy and I like that ruby red color with the black and pale blue. Second place is the F dougi which is also fun to draw and takes less time to draw.

Vegeta - His F armor that Bulma made for him. I really like how modernized it is and was sad to see it go two arcs later. Second place is his EoZ black tank top and blue pants.

It might seem weird but I dislike his classic orange outfit, it just looks ugly to me and it I think it doesn’t deserve to be so iconic. The red version looks way better to me.

-Best: Weird how she wore more outfits than any other character and they don’t really stand out. I guess the Namek outfit because she wore that the longest

-Worst: Playboy Bunny. Not only is it shameless service being thrusted on a minor it doesn’t make much sense. Why wore the damn bunny ears if she hates the outfit so much

Yamucha
-Best: Desert Bandit. Nuff said

-Worst- I guess that white shirt and yellow jacket and pants combo he wore later in Z?

Kuririn.
-Best: Turtle gi. Just because I think it ties to his early character development

-Worst: I’m trying to impress my Sugar Baby Maron white suit outfit I guess?


Chi Chi
-Best: The Chinese Battle Girl gi outfit in the 23rd Budokai

-Worst: Inappropriate young Chi Chi outfit

Gohan
-Best: The Chinese themed outfit he was introduced with

-Worst: Turtle Gi in Boo saga. Not only did it make him look more like Yamucha than intended (I hope) it just seems wrong for Gohan to go to battle without honoring his first teacher

Number 18
-Best: The denim outfit she was introduced in
-Worst: I’m cosplaying as a business lady outfit in GT

Goku:
Best: Of course his orange gi, but there's so many slight variations to his orange gi. Sometimes there's a symbol on it, sometimes there's not. Sometimes his obi is worn with a knot, sometimes it's a simple sash. I prefer it when he has a symbol, and his obi is in a knot. The knot-styled obi makes it more obvious he's a martial artist. As for the symbols, I liked it when he started wearing his own personal symbol, which he started doing around the time he landed on Namek. It's the same variation of the gi he also wore in DBS Broly. Although, I also like the time he had King Kai's symbol on the back, and Roshi's on the front during the Saiyan Saga. King Kai's symbol in particular looks cool.

Worst: GT outfit.

Vegeta:
Best: What he wore in the Cell Saga and most of Super.

Worst: Mustache

Bulma:
Best: What she wore when the cast was waiting for Frieza and when Future Trunks showed up. I especially liked her poofy curly hair style. Wish we would have seen her in this style for longer.

Worst: Her style from the Buu Saga to the end of the Beerus Saga (different colored dress, but she basically looked the same). Nothing really wrong with this style. It's just my least favorite.

Android 18:

Best: Toss up between what we first see her in when she's introduced, and what we see her in when she raids Chi Chi's house in the Cell Saga.

Worst: GT

Oddly this is my least favourite, the yellow sleeves make me think of cheap banana candy for some reason!

Speaking of outfits, has there ever been any given reason for why Goku's belt design changed from the bow to the much simpler knot look? I expect it being simpler to draw to be the answer, but has a reason ever been stated?

Missed this response. For all the people cheering for Piccolohan, I wish I saw more fans of the cape/helmetless Saiyaman outfit. This look really could've helped defined Gohan as a young adult , he takes on his own identity here and it could've represented something really cool. But nah, back to the popular costumes I guess.

I agree! The green gi look is very striking and helps Gohan stand out, especially when he and Yamcha sometimes have the same hairstyle!
