I don't have any authority. That's where mods and admins come in. As for "important threads", examples include the DBZ Abridged thread in the Fanworks sub-forum, the Ocean Kai thread in the Kai sub-forum, the "Non-thread-worthy discussions" thread in the General Franchise Discussion sub-forum. Basically topics of continuous discussion. I know that's probably not the best way to explain it, and I know there are other, possibly better examples of an "important thread", but that's all there is to it.ZodaEX wrote:What athority do you have to decide which threads are important and which threads are unimportant? Could Original Z & Kai be combined into an hypothetically future release (+recut feature for pre Z DB)

If you don't have any authority, then my opinion of which threads are important are equally valid as your opinion of which threads are important. Therefore I have only ever posted in important threads.Danfun64 wrote:I don't have any authority. That's where mods and admins come in. Guys, Dragon Ball Kai is done. It's not a product TOEI or anyone will go back to, except the fans whether because of a dub or being able to watch episodes 1-95 in Japanese with the original soundtrack, which you can't get legally. I'm glad I watched Kai with the Yamamoto score cause the replacement Kikuchi score is just the same repetitive BGMs over and over again.
Still, here's hoping Ocean Kai eventually airs.

The general rule across almost all forums on the internet is that if you can't see the thread on the first two or three pages, you're free to make a new one covering the same subject. Another factor to keep in mind is how long ago the thread was last posted in; if it's more than a few weeks (and you aren't updating the topic like with the Art Style 2.0 thread), one would preface their post by acknowledging that the topic has long since died, which works every time if you also bringing something of value to the discussion.ZodaEX wrote:If you don't have any authority, then my opinion of which threads are important are equally valid as your opinion of which threads are important.
Coming into a dead thread and saying "I agree" or "I didn't like it either" is considered to be a waste of time for most people checking the forums for new posts.
