I think that'll be another benefit to the game. It'll keep the players in some sort of shape. Or, at the very least, the players will get some good arm exercise (Maybe Nintendo should make a Dance Dance Revolution for the Wii, for a full body workout).
It's too bad the punch and kick doesn't involve actually punching and kicking...
I would knock over my entertainment center if I used actual punches and kicks.

Jesus Christ.... who cares?
No Demi, The company is
obviously on crack to mispronounce their product, making it easier for the american consumers to say aloud. This is an outrage.

Is it really any harder to say without the extra "I"?
My 14 year old brother is a Dragon Ball fan and he pronounces Tenkaichi correctly.
Then again, my 15 year old brother who ISN'T a fan of Dragon Ball pronounces 'Saiyan' right instead of saying 'Say-un' like the dub.

This video reaffirms my conviction to never buy a Wii.

I'd rather press a button to dash than wave my hand down.
I did get a smirk in the manner she was describing the kamehameha. "Once you're at max power, in the same way that Goku would do it in the series, you hold down your B and your Z triggers..."
Yes, because Goku always makes sure he's holding his B and Z triggers.

Yes, because Goku always makes sure he's holding his B and Z triggers.

I think she meant the "charging to full power, then bringing your hands back then forward quickly" part, instead of pressing buttons.
So, basically, everything except what you mentioned.

That's honestly what I'm afraid of the most while playing the
Wii. That and getting used to saying
Wii aloud, viva la
Revolution!

You can call me Rick because I'm not actually Piccolo.

Anybody who calls the Wii the Revolution should be forced to call the GameCube a Dolphin.
Anyway, I've made sure to make space for when I have a Wii.

Oh come on, no one says anything when Naruto fanboys bitch about techniques being pronounced wrong, but when I bitch about a title being said wrong I get laughed at?
Honestly, fans have complained about far lamer things than word pronounciation.

Please don't take this the wrong way,I'm not laughing at you or anything. I just think it isn't that much of a big deal. F-R-I-E-Z-A and H-E-R-C-U-L-E is a whole different story...

What's the correct pronunciation of "Saiyan"?

Well, the original is "SAI-yuh-jin", so it'd "SAI-yan", or at least that's how I pronounce it.

I pronounce it "SAY-un" out of habit, and I am not ashamed. Honestly, who cares?
Anyhoo, back on topic...
I watched the video... and loved it. Wii-tastic! I'm already practicing, with or without holding an actual Wiimote.
My only problem will be eventually gettting enough money for a Wii, and this game...
...and Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, and Super Smash Bros. Brawl, and Super Mario Galaxy, and Pokémon Battle Revolution, and Sonic Wildfire, and Super Monkey Ball Blitz, and Metroid Prime 3: Corruption, and an extra Wiimote...

I just say "Saiyajin".

I'm guessing anybody who cares about the use of 'dub terms'. Though, the Say-un pronounciation has spread like the black plague, so it's somewhat accepted.
The fact of the matter is that if you read the word "Saiyan", it's pronounced "Sai-yan". If it were "Say-un" it'd probably be spelled more like "Saeyen".
To swing things back on task, the same can be said for Tenkaichi. It seems it's become common in commercials and stuff to pronounce it as if it were spelled "Tenkai ichi" with an extra "I".

To be honest, I've actually started to kinda slur the two together ("SAY-un and "SAI-yan," I mean). It sounds kinda like... "SAE-yin," if that makes any sense.
I gotta practice, in the event I ever meet up with Mike, Meri, Julian and company at a con or something (As far as I know, I'm getting dragged to Otakon next summer)

The Wii controler looks very difficult to use. Leave it to Nintendo to say "Look at all this shit we put on this weird controller. We don't know how what we can do with it, but it looks cool.

I thought it was more along the lines of "Hey, look this is really cool. When you move it, stuff happens. Haha."
But, I've always been a Nintendo Fanboy.

I'm getting both versions. But I agree that it'd be much cooler if I could kick and punch. Wii needs more addons!!!

The problem is that people are pronouncing it "
Ten - Kai - Chi" and not even "
Ten - Kai - Ichi"; I have to assume since they're familiar with the name "King Kai", that "Kai" has almost become natural to them, and they're just inferring. They're mostly just not taking into consideration ('cuz how the Hell would they know?) the kanji break-up of the word.
