When/will Dragon Ball, Z, GT, Kai and the Movies be on Netflix (US, namely)?

Discussion regarding the entirety of the franchise in a general (meta) sense, including such aspects as: production, trends, merchandise, fan culture, and more.

Yeah I’m 99.97 percent sure Funimation makes the call for North America as they hold the license.

TOEI? Are you sure?

This seems like FUNimation's decision where it goes up. It's on Amazon, iTunes, Hulu, Microsoft Video Store, PlayStation Video Store and FUNimation Now. Strangely not on the Play Store nor Netflix, which are two extremely popular services.

Toei America ultimately have the deciding vote, but Funimation essentially sub-license it from Toei. If Toei want to do or block anything from happening, then that's their right. But if Funimation want to do something and Toei don't have anything against them doing it, then that's their right.
The point of Dragon Ball is to enjoy it. Never lose sight of that.

That it is. That'd also be how FUNimation and using the Japanese BA would work, as well.

It all comes down to TOEI, ultimately.
