I asked about buying the Sainsbury's Edition and this was the response:
Then it shall be!

In that case you can just get post cards that Abystyle released:Dragon Ball Ireland wrote: Wed May 01, 2019 4:31 am Hmmm, I'm not a fan of the practice of companies encouraging their customers to double dip, seems like Manga UK are milking Broly a bit, but I kinda want the inserts in both the standard and Sainsbury's editions.
Honestly though, I pre-ordered the standard Blu-Ray, but with my birthday coming up in July I may ask for the Sainsbury's version as a gift, keep the inserts from both editions and sellI the standard Blu-Ray without them.
I have no interest in steelbooks so if all goes to plan I'll have everything I need.

More too.

Yes, he can buy those bootleg art cards but he prefers the real ones. Like, you generally buy genuine figures, right? He likes genuine products, too.

They're not bootleg.... they're officially licensed. One of them as the same art as three of the ones from the Sainsbury's edition so the only you'd be missing out on is Gogeta.JohnnyCashKami wrote: Sat May 04, 2019 6:09 am Yes, he can buy those bootleg art cards but he prefers the real ones. Okay, it's Officially Licensed but those art cards don't look as appealing as the Manga UK ones, for me. Their art cards (by ABY) sort of look unofficial but that's just me I guess.

Yeah, they say the same on Twitter. Odd, the US version already has a cover for Part 8

I appreciate when Manga UK admit to working on a future release. I hope they will be telling us that when we're waiting on the inevitable Super 2.0 and not make the same mistake they made with Kai: Final Chapters by telling everyone there was no plans, inevitably causing most of their customers to import.

Agreed. I for one wouldn't have imported TFC had I known they would release it eventually. Strangely they seem to have gone very quiet about One Piece again. It seems to stop for ages at random intervals with hardly a word in between. When people have inquired about that they just say there's "no news to share at this time", which is very vague. The choice of wording they use can make a big difference, as I feel much more optimistic when they say "we're working on it".Dragon Ball Ireland wrote: Tue May 14, 2019 6:57 am I appreciate when Manga UK admit to working on a future release. Manga says they've shipped all copies of the Broly Steelbook to retailers (though who knows how long the retailers themselves will take to shift them all). https://twitter.com/MangaUK/status/1129816421045800966

Yeah, I got an email from Base to say my copy of Super Broly is being processed and will be dispatched shortly. I got the Collector's Edition, and will be getting the postcards too.
Can't wait. Be great to see the movie again in the best possible quality

Interesting to see English HOH subtitles listed on the back. That's rare for an anime release and something Funi never bothers with nowadays.

https://animeuknews.net/schedule/
Manga UK's schedule goes to the end of August and still no mention of Super Part 7 or One Piece for that matter.
It's not looking very good at the moment I must say. This is their number 1 property at the moment and they've come to a stand still with it for no apparent reason. At least we got Broly without the green tint...

Re: "Dragon Ball Super" Manga UK Home Release Thread
Yeah I could understand TOEI Europe not wanting to promote the Super series as much while Broly was still fresh, but now that the movie's out on Blu-Ray it just feels like money left on the table.
I'd hope we'll get Part 7 before Funimation announces Part 8, because now that they own Manga UK I'd hope simultaneous releases would become a thing once Manga have Part 7 out and caught up.
I can't speak for One Piece, but I'd hope the same for the fans as it is also owned by Funi.

Part 7 is scheduled for August 12 and Part 8 for September 30
Re: "Dragon Ball Super" Manga UK Home Release Thread
Thank goodness for that. And there's not much of a gap between them either.mute_proxy wrote: Thu Jun 27, 2019 4:16 pm Part 7 is scheduled for August 12 and Part 8 for September 30
